Our doula has periodic gatherings for her clients and their babies. We attended one just last weekend. It was fun!

Her mom lives in my neighborhood so I randomly see her occasionally.

Nope. We were assigned a doula with our birth center and midwife with our first and we never clicked. I haven't heard from her since C was 3 days old.

We are Facebook friends but no. I thought we would. I loved her at first. She did not do a great job staying in touch and supporting me after the birth, and at a certain point I realized she had not been a great doula for what I needed, and so I stopped reaching out.

We are friends though her daughter got sick so we lost touch but we were close for a while.
