Summer for sure. Our apt bldg uses steam to heat which we don't pay for. We can't control it though which sucks!

We've spent one winter and this is our second summer in this house, and winter was by far more expensive, but this was also a very cold winter. The issue is that we have a 3-story-townhouse and an old, inefficient heating unit. We had someone come look at it, and he said it was basically like a giant toaster...not great for heating bills.

Winter! Toronto gets a cold, but not that cold winter, but we need heat on for about 5-6 months. We sometimes turn on the AC in the summer, especially if it is humid!
