LO is 6 months old and our nursing sessions are getting longer and longer. I thought they would get shorter as she got older! I tried offering a pacifier but she seems to be really hungry!
Are your nursing sessions getting longer or shorter?

shorter. she is so distracted now she doesn't nurse for longer than 5 minutes or so in the daytime. she is also so into solids, she's not as into nursing as much as she used to be. she still nurses for a long time at night though when she's tired and has no distractions.

DD is 3 months and they've gotten a little bit longer. Not because of distraction but now that my oversupply is under control she can actually comfort nurse some & I'm not stopping her. The actually feeding portion has gotten shorter though. =)

LO is 10 weeks old and nursing sessions have gotten much longer since the 6 week growth spurt. It's mostly comfort nursing, though.

You may be around a growth spurt, but they should get shorter as she becomes more efficient at nursing.

Right now, shorter.... They seem to be more efficient at 3.5 months...

At 10 weeks they're getting slightly longer as lately she's been taking both breasts which is totally new for us.

As my LO got older it got shorter. When he wasn't feeling well or he went through growth spurts he did seem to nurse longer. Could you LO be teething or growing?
