No, not me. My parents live on the east coast so I don't think they would make it on the day that I gave birth. Even if they were close, I wouldn't want them in the room. Oh, I don't think my mom would be offended.

We prepared both our parents that they weren't even welcome at the hospital until after I gave birth. I didn't want to feel pressured like people were waiting on me and there was no way they would be allowed in the room.

My mom was there and I loved it! I really wanted someone with me at all times so my husband and mom spelled each other off to go to the washroom and to eat. I definitely want/need her there in the future too!
ETA I wouldn't dream of having MIL in there! No way, no how.

Oh heck no... I would be weirded out with my dad there and my mom drives me nuts! I am only having DH and of course the midwife and her assistant in the room with me.

Apparently I am in the minority but I want my mom to be in the room. She is one of my biggest supporters, second only to DH, and she'll be able to support me through labor in an entirely different way then DH will.

I love my parents but I dont see why they would want to watch me pushing a baby out

Possibly my mother, but she and I have discussed it at length--my thoughts, fears, expectations, hopes, etc. and she knows exactly where I stand and why I'm so undecided. I don't think she would be upset to not be in the room, if she would be, she's had plenty of opportunity to voice that!
We aren't decided yet, my husband doesn't really even want to talk about it (we're not due until May so we have a lot of time!)
My dad would never want to be in the delivery room (at least, I think he wouldn't want to be) but I'm not even making that an option. He makes me crazy and would stress me out. He was a terrible labor partner for my mother and there's no reason for him to be in there.
My ILs live 12+ hours away so that's a moot point.

Absolutely not. The L&D rooms only have a bed and a recliner in them anyway, so it'll be me and DH. My mom wouldn't be so bad I don't think, but I'd kill MIL after about 30 minutes.
