Anyone have any size tips for maternity clothes from ASOS?
I'm interested in ordering a dress from there - it is fitted and stretchy. Their measurements look closer to juniors than regular women's. I'm leaning towards an 8 (normally a 4-6 in GAP, LOFT) and I would want to wear it the first time when ~18 months so not a huge belly. Does there stuff run really small such that I should order a 10?

Is this asos from the UK? If so I ordered maternity skirt and dress from there when I was preg and they ran big, I could have taken a size smaller in each. Loved them though, wore both all the time.

I also found that some of their stuff runs big...I ordered a cotton maternity dress and it was larger than I thought it would be...but then I ordered a polyester/acrylic-y type dress with a fitted chest/neckline, and it was on the smaller side.

Hmm, confusing.
@travelgirl1: Yeah, this is asos from the UK - they have US size measurements, and I would come in at about an 8.
The dresses I'm looking at are fitted and stretch so maybe the size wouldn't matter so much. Something like this, if the link posts:
@hilsy85: It sounds maybe more like the one you ordered that was on the smaller side.

The one so ordered was a wrap-style dress and so big around the boobs I had to use a safety pin to hold it closer and stop my huge preg boobs saying hello to the world, lol. But that dress is very different, I'd prob just order your actual size.

I got a maternity maxi dress and it was huge! Had to send it back... Free shipping though! i agree with @travelgirl1 - boob area was huge on me.

I'd say it runs big. All of my stuff (tons of their cotton maternity dresses) are 8 or 10, and I wear a size 14 in pants.

yeah, i got smaller sizes there. i went by the measurements on the size guide to figure out the size to order and it was pretty spot on. i used hips for pants and then my bust for the tops.
