Gluing is super fun for kids, you can glue cotton balls to a piece of paper in the shape of a snowman, for example.

You could also do a modified sensory box with a scavenger hunt, kinetic sand, goop, etc.

I give my LO a sheet of contact paper that I've taped down with painter's tape. I let her stick on tissue paper that I've cut up, random scrap paper left over, pom poms ... etc. It's already sticky and I don't need to mess with glue. She can do this all on her own without any supervision from me. So this is my favorite.

I also paint with her which always leads to finger painting.

We make "birthday hats" as she calls them by decorating the paper and then rolling it into a cone and taping the ends together.

I have her help me make pudding, since it's very easy to mix. Just put it in a really big bowl so there's very little mess.

I play kitchen with her, where I ask for all kinds of food, and she makes them for me. We play doctor, where I tell her to check up her stuffed animals. I give them different sicknesses like monkey has a cold, giraffe has a boo boo on his knee, lion bumped his head, etc.

Puzzles. I have puzzles that are 2 pieces, 4 pieces, 6 pieces and 8 pieces. She loves doing these.
