We have a 19 month old and are finally considering getting reusable pouches. How long do kids use these? Will we get a year at least out of them?

They make big kid & adult pouches now! They're great for sending apple sauce, yogurt, etc in lunches when they're older. You can def get well over a year out of reusable ones & you'll save vs buying those individual cups of things (plus all the waste those create!)

DS still takes applesauce pouches to school for snack in first grade. Lots of kids in his class do also.

I've been thinking about getting reusable pouches too.

I have seen kids in the high school where I work eating applesauce pouches. Powerbar makes some for sports, too.

@Mrs. Deer: I don't use the reusable pouches...I just buy the applesauce pouches when he asks for them for snack.
