I go back to school in the end of August when LO will be a year, and I really don't want to pump anymore. I'm hoping she'll be down to morning and night by then. At what age was your LO nursing that amount? Were they eating exclusively table foods?

We're working on getting there by the end of July (when I go back to work). She'll be 11 months, so I plan to nurse her morning and evening, and just have her drink homo milk at day care.

Around 14/15 months. Before that we were still nursing before his nap(s).

12 months. We introduced a small amount of WCM in a cup at meals when DD was 9.5 months and ramped up her WCM intake starting at 11 months - we gradually replaced bottles of BM with cups of WCM. She did need a bottle (of WCM) to transition off the bedtime nursing session when we dropped that.

12 months is when I cut back to just mornings (cut out a session a week in line with replacing bottles). He was totally fine with that.

16 months and she eats three solid meals a day plus snacks and she still nurses 6 or 7 times a day. I haven't tried to encourage her to drop any sessions though. She's a big comfort nurser.

10 months we were just nursing morning & night - cutting back on pumping during the day made me dry up though about a month later

14-18 months. we were down to wake up and bedtime nursing, and she slowly dropped one then the other. Morning was last to go.

About 12.5 months. I weaned very gradually over a two month span and we were totally done at 13 months. I didn't have much supply left at that point anyway, so I think those last two weeks were just comfort nursing.

Between 11-12 months is when we dropped slowly to just am/pm nursing sessions.

Around 15 months, I dropped her one day session by giving her a cup of milk instead.

We were there by 12 months, as long as your LO is getting enough solids by then I think it's totally do-able. Any liquids between those two times he just gets water in a sippy cup, which he doesn't love but if he's thirsty he'll drink it.

Almost there at 12.5 months. I am done pumping and nurse at around 5:30 am (first wake up), 6 pm and 7:30 pm (bedtime).

Following. My son is 12m and we're down to nursing 3x/day. I'm sort of following the "don't offer" approach.
