@jstalter: hopefully this is your month too and we can be month twins!!

@TrailRunner: ahh I would love that!! Check out my chart.. (that I started per your suggestion if I remember correctly!).. I got an alert this AM that it's "triphasic" at the right time. Fingers crossed, hands folded, and positive vibes that this is my month!!
Making myself wait until 8/31 because last month I testing too early, got three faint positives, and then got AF!!

@MrsKoala: thank you!
@jstalter: eek...omg. If your temps are good then that very well could be an implantation dip! It's hard to tell tho bc you missed one and then the "dip" is at a different time. Don't get your hopes up too much, but that looks promising!!
I know what you mean about the faint positives and then AF showing up. I have AF cramps, and I'm too scared to even believe this is real until I actually have a missed period. I really only test early tho so that if I do have a chemical I'll know about it. Idk but I'm getting so excited for you. What day will you test?

@Silva: this has happened to me in the past...I get an almost positive opk but don't really have the right EWCM to match, then a few days later I get the EWCM and true positive opk. Some months I ovulate around CD13 and other months it's more like CD16 based on opk & EWCM.
@TrailRunner: yay, congrats!

@illumina: thanks, it's reassuring to hear similar stories. My daughter was conceived on a month where I didn't ovulate until cd 20! Ovulation was delayed because I was stressed out about traveling for a wedding. My body geared up to ovulate, but my temp never rose. My CM went back to creamy, and then several days later became more fertile again. Hoping that's what is going on this time, too!

@Silva: I hope so! I don't temp so I don't know exactly when I'm ovulating...I've just gone on CM, ovulation pains and opks...though to be honest I've given up with opks now because often I never got a true positive.

@illumina: I am not temping this time. I tried briefly, but things are pretty different this time around.this is my first time using opks, so we will see...

@TrailRunner: CONGRATS!! so happy for you!!

@TrailRunner: That totally makes sense! I'm going to try and wait to test 8/31! We'll see if I make it that long. AF should arrive sometime between the 28th and 30th.

Update- Still no AF, I believe my body just decided to skip a month.
Today I had a really sore lower back, cramping and shooting pains on my right side :o Could it be!? Did I ovulate!? Super weird, I really hope so! I suppose I will find out in a couple weeks.

@TrailRunner: @catlady: Thanks!!
@JennyLayneAZ: It's not so I'm hoping it's at least ovulation. Either way I'm happy my body is doing SOMETHING haha. I think I might start OPKs next month.

@TrailRunner so happy for you!!
My husband and I managed to get our act together this cycle a few times in the last week... hopefully again today because I noticed EWCM and have OPKs that look almost positive (I don't really know how they work but probably a good sign?). No big expectations for September but at least we got over that awful hurdle and hopefully things will be less pressure-y now.

@MrsDragon: Whoo hoo! So glad to hear the positive update from you! Do you think you already O'ed or are they still getting darker?
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@TrailRunner My temps didn't rise at all so I'm guessing O today or tomorrow? They're not getting lighter since yesterday but still seem a shade lighter than the control. It's about the normal timing for me (CD17 today and CD16 is usually when I ovulate).
cherry / 124 posts
@TrailRunner: temps dipped back down (still above the cover line) but downward trend the last two days. I've been cramping and had the slightest spotting in the middle of the day after using the restroom yesterday. May be out this month.

The positive side- if I'm out this month and next month is my month, it will be timed perfectly for work!

Can I ask you ladies a question about EWCM, totally TMI so apologies in advance...is yours yellow tinged or clear? I tend to get a few days of really stringy yellow EWCM from about CD9 and then maybe a day or two of clear EWCM, which is definitely more like what I would imagine EWCM to look like, only it doesn't stretch as much.
Just trying to figure out which is the more fertile stuff.

@MrsDragon: good luck and keep DTD!!
@jstalter: what a bummer. I got so excited for you. Fingers crossed for next month for you!
@illumina: mine is sometimes yellowish. I found this website to be helpful: http://www.babycenter.com/101_what-cervical-mucus-looks-like-through-your-cycle_10351429.bc

The world of CM is so foreign to me, I don't check at all... nor do I really know how to or what to check for.
Thanks @TrailRunner: that article helped a lot! I might start checking for that next month.

I'm officially out for Aug, but I'm fascinated with the charting process and ready fo next month!
I'm a little concerned that my cycle continues to get shorter and shorter. No sure if I should call my obgyn about this? This is the second month where my cycle is only 24 days. It went from 32 to 30 to 28 to 26 and now 24 for 2 months.
kiwi / 554 posts
@illumina: Mine is clear and stretchy. I agree with @WinterBee though, cm is very confusing!
@jstalter: Sorry you're out Good luck next month!!! Charting is definitely a rabbit hole - I've fallen down it too.
AFM, I'm still waiting.... spotting and cramps for the last 2 days (7/8 DPO).... I really hope it's not AF so soon. I started taking b complex to lengthen my 9 day LP and was really hoping it would work this cycle. I think I'll try vitex as well next month. I guess we'll see...
persimmon / 1071 posts
@jstalter: Mine keep getting longer!! 31-32-37-and now I haven't had AF since July 4. Weird! I wouldn't be too worried as it seems to be regulating, but it couldn't hurt to ask questions!

I made a September POAS thread for if/when people want to switch over -- no rush, but it's there for when the month starts! http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/september-poas
