I'm in! My chart/temps are super wonky this month so I'm kinda guessing at where I am.
Cycle Day: 20
TTC Cycle #: 3
Ovulation and POAS dates: O - possibly 7/23? Or 7/19 according to FF which I don't really believe. Or yesterday. Hah.
I'm super confused, so I think I will try to hold out 'till 8/4 for POAS, because that's my original day before my period.
Baby #: 2; we have a 20-month-old.
Your plan this month: Just trying to wait out the next two weeks or so! We struggled a lot this month, but have been trying to be healthier, more relaxed, etc.
If this doesn't work, we'll have another shot in August as I'm supposed to O around 8/16-8/18 which would let me POAS at the end of the month. But we're having houseguests in town for that time frame and my husband is working practically all month. 
For Fun: Does anyone have any special vacations or events going on in August? Nope! Super busy work month for us, but my dad and niece are visiting later on in the month.

I'm going to Calgary to visit my brother and his family (they just had a baby!) then a bachelorette in the middle of August (hopefully I won't be drinking at!) and at the end of August DH and I are going to visit friends in Nova Scotia.

Excited to join! I'm probably technically an early Sept POASer but I'm excited and will likely start testing at 8DPO which should be 8/31.
Cycle Day: 17. not starting until next cycle. CD1 should be 8/9.

@jstalter: POAS is Pee On A Stick, so the day that you'll be testing if you're pregnant or not. It's usually any time after 10 days past ovulation or the first day of your missed period.

I don't know when I O as of yet and I started OPKs but they're just not more me. I'll spend my $ on pregnancy tests 
currently were DTD every other day because i should be O ing now... Last night was a bust and it didn't happen, as in, he didn't give me the "goods" so we'll try today! I kinda got irritated. It seems like when we're trying to "do it" to conceive, the 3rd day(the most important O day!) is when he gets "tired" and doesn't finish the race

Your plan this month: Force myself to be patient and wait until after a missed period for HPT! If I get a BFP, try every other day during ovulation week.

Anyone else struggling with the TWW? I see a lot of us are POAS 8/8.. I am due for AF 8/5 and want to wait a few more days after that bc I had 3 faint positives on consecutive days on the 3 days leading up to AF last month, then AF came at midnight and I tested BFN the next AM. I course I hoped it was just spotting or something, as I hear that can happen. Anyway- this month I feel like I am starting to drive myself crazy with over thinking every little twinge or possible symptom. Anyone have advice for dealing with this? Thank you!!!

Question-- isn't ovulation typically on cd14? Is ovulating late normal? I haven't felt like I O'd until today by noticing EWCM & it's cd17. Is that Still a normal range or could I be way off. I'm just not sure that observing my EWCM is a true sign or a late sign I O'd.
We Dtd every other day so hopefully I actually O'd today! Maybe I'll summons him tonight just to cover my bases

@jh524: just saw your question- I always ovulated late, like CD 19-21, or later. But my cycles were always around 30-32+ days. Ovulation on day 14 is just an estimate based on a 28-day cycle with a normal luteal phase.

@hellobeeboston: thank you. Well I had a super short cycle last time so maybe it's getting back to normal or my "new" normal;) we DTD last night. Since i have EWCM should we try again tonight?! I'm so tirrredddd... Lol. Running around with a toddler in not for the weary;) Someone told me tonight that it gets easier the more kids you have... Hmmmm...

@jstalter I'm the worst at the TWW. I'm 7dpo now and trying to hold out until the day before my period is due, after a few cycles of testing constantly and making myself feel more crazy.
I feel pretty much zero symptoms this cycle though. Not sure if it's mental because I've resigned myself to the fact that it's gonna take longer than I thought, or if I'm actually not feeling symptoms, hah.

@jh524: I think you should DTD whenever you see EWCM, but from what I've read it seems as though most ladies ovulate the last day EWCM is present. I'm not 100% but I think I ovulate around day 13-14 with a 26-27 day cycle. I usually start seeing EWCM around day 10 and by day 15 it's dried up.

@jstalter: I don't think I've even ovulated yet, so it's not even the TWW, and I'm already paying attention to every twinge and cramp! It's crazy! There's nothing wrong with being excited though!

Okay, I'm going to jump in. This is my first attempt at TTC, and I stalked the July thread, so ill try to keep up with the lingo and acronyms!
Cycle Day: 19
TTC Cycle #: 1!
Ovulation and POAS dates: I think O was 7/28 and I'm going to try and wait until 8/11 to POAS
Baby #: 2. We have a 2 year old who was a surprise souvenir from our honeymoon
Your plan this month: well, we BD'd every other day during what I really hope was my fertile window. Now it's just wait and see!
For Fun: Does anyone have any special vacations or events going on in August? Nope, not unless you count moving DD to a big girl bed, haha.
