    Cycle Day: 1

    TTC Cycle #: 6

    Ovulation and POAS dates: 8/12 & 8/26

    Baby #: 1

Your plan this month: same thing...chart and use OPKs. I have my annual in a couple weeks, and since I have endo I might go ahead and discuss with her what she suggests we start doing to help. I'm not having any trouble Oing, and we DTD everyday so I know my timing is perfect. I guess I'll see.

For Fun: Does anyone have any special vacations or events going on in August? Husbands birthday is next weekend so we have rented a cabin. Hello hot tub and lake!

I've been reading Hello Bee for years, just waiting until DH and I were in a position to ttc. Well, that time is finally here so I might as well jump in to the thread! I ovulated very late this cycle so what should have been a July test is now August. Best of luck to everyone here!

    Cycle Day: 28
    TTC Cycle #: 2
Ovulation and POAS dates: Ov - CD24 (7/28), POAS - 8/9, if I can wait that long. Probably 8/7
    Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: temping, preseed, lots of BD!
For Fun: Does anyone have any special vacations or events going on in August? No major plans, but hoping to schedule a beach weekend with my girlfriends.

@jstalter: I'm going through the same thing. As soon as DH and I decided to try, I've become a crazy lady! I Said I wasnt going to POAS until the 11th, which is when AF is due, but I doubt I'll be able to wait that long.

This is our first time TTC, please make me feel better and tell me that lots of people get carried away and a touch obsessive about the process?

@MrsRoo: I've spent way too much money of testing! My DH would freak! I start testing quite early but it's exciting and I literally can't control myself. And being good and waiting isn't near as fun Good luck!!!

I'm out this month... AF came 4 days early. Boooo... Better luck to you all!!

@MrsRoo: you're definitely not alone; but it does get expensive, it can drive you crazy, and testing early can cause you to get very excited and later find you had a chemical prengnancy (happened to me last month- 3 faint positives and AF still came- I couldn't believe it). If you can stand it.. I recommend waiting for a missed AF!

@jstalter: I'm so sorry to hear about AF showing up so early. will you have another chance to test again in August?

@MrsRoo: I was obsessed the first couple of months, but now I kind of dread it. I wait to test now if AF doesn't show up early. I also bought a pack of wondfo tests off amazon for like $11 that have lasted me forever. So, def look into those if you like to test a lot.

@TrailRunner: Good morning! Thank you for the message. I just checked out my calendar and technically I may be able to test the last day of Aug now! Don't count me totally out for this month quite yet!!

@jstalter: Whoo hoo! I was able to test twice in July. It was nice having two chances in one month. I'll be around until the end of August, so if you stick around this board you will have me to keep you company!

@jh524: yes, that's me too, I think. When I found out I was pregnant with my LO, I took 7(!) tests the first couple days because I liked seeing the line, haha. Im really trying not to go down that same path this time.

@jstalter: that's a good point, although it sucks that you had to go through that. Bummer about AF this month, too. Hope to see you get a bfp at the end of the month!

@TrailRunner: oooo, cheap tests? If it doesn't happen this month, I'll have to order some. Right now I have a couple of tests from the ER I work at, but I'd feel guilty using those every month!

@mrschristmas I caved and tested early, hah... it's a super squinter and I'm not really sure what I'm seeing, plus my husband won't believe a line like that. It's a holiday here so nothing is open. I'll take a wondfo tomorrow and if it's good I'll probably go buy a FRER or digital or both. How weird would it be to take one at work with SMU?!

@MrsRoo: The first month trying (for both DD and #2) I thought it would happen right away and was really obsessive...but I've found each subsequent month, I'm more relaxed about it. This is month 3 for TTC #2 and am so fed up with squinting at sticks that I've stopped using opks and will just wait to see if AF arrives!

    @MrsDragon: congrats! H&H 9 months to you!

I'm so unsure if we DTD at the right time this month. I have two period tracker apps on my phone. The last two months were weird, one being a week late & the next a week early. So my Apps are off by a week. One says I'll start AF in 2 days and the other 10 days. Either way we DTD a lot so I'm keeping my fingers crossed but trying not to symptom spot because I really have no idea if we hit the mark this time. Ahhhh!!!

@jh524: I started DTD everyday bc I got tired of worrying if I was hitting the right days. I mean I'll know after I ovulate with my temp shift, but if I want to make sure I'm hitting all the days I feel like I have to do it everyday!! I'm always too scared I'll miss my smiley face by not testing with my OPKs consistently. Oh well, at least I'm having fun

@jh524: @TrailRunner: I feel like we're having a hard time hitting the right days too! DH works night shift, 3 on 3 off, so unless I wake up super early (or wake him up after an hour of sleep lol) when he gets home from work we can't DTD on those days.... just hoping that my window doesn't fall during days he's working this month...

  35. TrailRunner

    kiwi / 585 posts

@csross217: ugh. That is the worst. My husband runs a restaurant so he has wonky hours. Sometimes I will make him wake up early before I have to work or I'll make him wake me up when he gets home. Not the most romantic haha.

Strong cramps going on over here... Not symptoms spotting or anything;) .....ok maybe a little.!! Hopefully not AF coming cramps

    Anyone else enjoying the 2WW??!!

@jh524: Me too! But not spotting, right? My period has been wonky the last couple months so I'm not sure about timing or what to expect.

I'm leaving tomorrow for a trip with family and I'll be home on the 13. So, I'm not going to test while I'm away and just see what happens and test when I get back if AF doesn't show up. Either way, I'll update, but most likely not until next week.

    Good luck everyone!!!
