@Kaohinani: alas, I won’t be poas until September, but I’ll drop in and cheerlead a little this month
I posted in the ivf board, but I’ll post here too. I decided to take opks this month so I know more of what’s going on (last month I had ewcm forever). I got a positive today on cd9, so I’ll O on cd10 (very early for me) so I’ll get af earlier, which will mess up my next cycle and push back my transfer I think now mid September will be poas territory

Cycle Day: 1
TTC Cycle (or months TTC): Around 14 months. Couple medically needed pauses and a loss.
• Ovulation Date: Aug 5
• POAS Date: I should wait longer, but Aug 14, it's a significant day for me. A few days later is our wedding anniversary and I don't want to POAS then.
• Baby #: 3 (A 4.5 year old and a loss)

Hi all, I’d like to join in this go around.

• Cycle Day: 6
• TTC Cycle (or months TTC): 3 since a TFMR in March
• Ovulation Date: 7/31
• POAS Date: 8/11
• Baby #: 3

This TTC journey has been a doozy and I’m not in the best place emotionally. We had a TFMR in March and a chemical pregnancy last month. So while I feel lucky that sperm is meeting egg, I’m feeling drained from the ups and downs. DH and I had initially thought we’d take this month off because a pregnancy would mean the exact same due date as DS2 plus I’ll be on the TWW while on vacation in Portugal. But then after the CP I thought I can’t pass up a chance, so maybe we’ll NTNP. And now as my fertile week is coming up, I’m dying to take my temp and pee on some OPKs. So we’ll see what happens. Either way, the support of this community is something I need right now.

• Cycle Day: umm technically CD28 since last AF but was on OCPs to coordinate timing for an IVF retrieval
• TTC Cycle (or months TTC): this will be our 9th embryo transfer and about 18 months TTC
• Ovulation Date: NA
• POAS Date: Aug 7? (Still awaiting retrieval and transfer dates)
• Baby #: 3, DD#1 is 2.5, lost DD#2 due to T21

BONUS, For Fun:
(1) Is there anything exciting you'd like to share? Will be in Baltimore for work stuff for 5 days... my sister and nieces will be here for a week visiting from out of the country.
(2) Do you have any exciting plans for the last month of summer (* vacations, reunions, anniversaries, or birthdays)? (Only above)
(3) Are you trying anything "different" this TTC cycle? Hopefully we’ll have some embryos to be able to do a “fresh” transfer this cycle. DD was a fresh (non frozen) transfer, and she’s been our only success with IVF. This is the only thing left we haven’t tried. Medically it shouldn’t matter, but I’m holding on to some superstition/feelings about good luck from our past.

Are you trying anything "different" this TTC cycle?

The last few cycles I thought "taking it easy" would help. Breaks are good, I think, but this one didn't necessarily solve anything. My doctor and I are talking about fertility meds again; more hormone tests in two weeks.

September's probably a better bet (sounds like many people are in this boat!), but it's nice to be back with you in the meantime.

@yellowbeach: Haha, my thoughts exactly! Glad I kept my wardrobe, even if it is 4 years later. Wow, typing that out, that's a long time ago!

Hello again ladies
I’m not really sure what to do. Do you think it’s crazy to keep tying after 7 losses in a row? I had a positive opk today and just feeling anxious about the whole thing.

I have a repeat appointment with my RE on Wed and Thurs but not sure they will have anything significant to add. I suspect they will tell me to just keep trying and hope I get a good one lol.

I sometimes feel like I’m trying the same thing and getting the same results but still delusionally hoping for an alternate outcome 🤔 next

@Kaohinani: @Sams Mom: thanks ladies. I know it’s not a question anyone can answer over the internet unfortunately! Just feeling discouraged lately I guess. This board has always been so supportive so thank you.

I think I’m getting close to calling it quits - but I did end up DTD yesterday so o guess I’ll see! I’ve been with my current RE for awhile and not sure they will add anything but emotional support this week lol (am already on heparin, aspirin, higher dose folate, progesterone and a million vitamins) but I also have an appointment at the end of September with a new RE as another opinion. 🤷‍♀️

@Kaohinani: Great news, now you have a chance for sure!

I have been able to rest a bit more this week. Yesterday was a beautiful rainy day, I love to take it slow and stay in when it rains, it's so comforting. I feel like cooking a bit more after resting too. I have made filled paprikas, fried chicken, shortbread cookies and pickled some cucumbers so far this vacation. I usually go for easy and quick after work, but I like to spend a bit more time in the kitchen when I have the opportunity.

@Jessiemuller88: Thank you for reminding me that miracles can happen!! I troll the internets all day googling “miracle after recurrent loss” etc. Lol.
I don’t remember - did you do anything different? Or do you think it was a case of new embryo (s!!!) new chance?? The way @Sams Mom: mentioned that every pregnancy has its own chances?
