@MrsBrewer: I didn't get a clear positive on those tests until 10-12 dpo

@littleblessings: I'm hoping it's just early! I'm just so impatient! It's my own fault I started testing so early!!

@Banana330: same here. I feel like when I glance at the test I see something but when I stare at it really close, nothing!

I'm thinking I am a no and my brain just decided to put symptoms in my head. I tested today like a dummy in the middle of the day but you'd think know there'd be at least something of I was preggo. Oh well I guess I'll test again if AF doesn't show up in the next couple days

@cyndistar3: girl! Testing gets the best of all of us! How many DPO are you?

Still a negative this morning, and my temp dipped. Though my period hasn't started yet. How long after your temp dips is it until your period normally starts?

  8. Banana330

@MrsBrewer: I've had two days of low temps before AF before.

AF finally showed for me this morning... 3 days late.

@MrsBrewer: I had 2 lower temps this month, though AF started like 2 hours after I took the 2nd temp.

@Banana330: Thanks! I've had unquestionable BFNs through 15 dpo so it was just a waiting game. Ready to try again next month.

Spotting... no cramping yet... but I feel like AF is about to make her appearance, right on schedule.

Ok, I know I just posted an hour ago, but I'm annoyed and anxious. Spotting? WTF? I can't remember the last time I spotted before my period - only after. Usually AF comes in strong from the outset!

Such weird mixed signals. My pack of cheapie sticks from Amazon is supposed to arrive today. Going to try to hold off on testing until tomorrow if AF doesn't make herself known in a real way before then.

Ugh... the last day of the TWW is definitely the WORST!

Re: My "no cramping" comment earlier... just remembered I took Ibuprofen this morning because of some bee stings I got over the weekend. So I guess that would make the cramps less obvious. Duh!

Well, I'm out. AF Just showed up in full force. I'm so sad. 15 cycles... I think I'll never get pregnant.

I haven't been to a fertility doc yet, but I'm going to make an appointment for both me and DH as soon as possible.

@bizwitch: Definitely make that RE appointment. I was hesitant to do it at first, too bc I felt like it meant admitting failure. Eventually I changed my perspective and realized I was taking control and steering the ship. Then I felt empowered and much more positive.

@yellowbeach: I just made an appointment for Friday morning. I didn't feel like it was admitting defeat, but I guess I felt like maybe I hadn't done EVERYTHING I could on my own.

I haven't typically had great experiences with doctors - every time I go I feel like I leave having learned nothing about my body or what might be causing whatever symptom sent me to the doc. So I guess I was more afraid of being dismissed by them. Of having my concerns dismissed.

I'm sad. Wanna cry but won't, at work right now.

Okay I was feeling too superstitious to post, but I got my first faint at 10 dpo. And here are my 12 dpo tests from this AM (didn't take a pic until tonight so they're not great). AF would have been due tomorrow and I'm gonna wait and do one more test Thursday and then stop cuz I'm going crazy analyzing the darkness of lines. But so far today I'm pregnant! 6th cycle was the charm

@littleblessings: I didn't post it until today. I had written an anon post in the boards, because I was getting really light tests, but I also got a on 8dpo, which I've never gotten before! But, they've gotten darker, so I felt a bit better about posting.

First off, congrats to MOMTOLITTLEB, MissLace, littleblessings, psw27, abbydabbydoodlebug, Valentine Mommy, MenagerieMama !!! So exciting!!!

I'm still here - apparently one of the last hold outs

It's been a weird month for us - I think we had pretty good timing, but I usually O on CD12 - this time, no pain (my usual ovulation symptom), except MAYBE on CD14? I'm definitely investing in OPKs after this month.

Last month I had a lot of symptoms around this time, especially nausea - I think that was my body's reaction to progesterone? This month, nothing so far except a few nights of hyper vivid dreams.

    Basically, I'm driving myself crazy.

Either way, I'm debating on when to start testing. The 27th is CD24 for me, 12 DPO if I ovulated on CD12, 10 if I ovulated on CD14 - feels like a good compromise.

First RE appointment tomorrow. I am scared of what we might find out.

Also my co-worker is 8 months pregnant and it gets harder and harder to look at her.

Ugh. Just sad today and looking for support. Thanks ladies.

@bizwitch: That first appointment is very nerve wracking. You obviously worry about being told something is wrong, but it's also frustrating to know that 1/3 of IF is unexplained. You could be in either category, each with its own issues, so try not to sweat it just yet. But the good news is, you are on the path to possibly finding out what the issues are, and growing your family.

And I definitely know that pain in seeing other people pregnant, especially those that didn't even try or want to be pregnant. I work in the Emergency Room and have 15 year olds coming in on a daily basis pregnant, wishing so much that they weren't. It's just natural to feel the pain when something seems to come so easily to others, but not you. You get a guilt-free pass to skip the baby showers and "ooh and ahh" moments in the office when the us scans are passed around.

@yellowbeach: What a sweet reply. Thank you.

I actually confided in two co-workers - the pregnant one and one whose wife was pregnant - about our issues and requested that they not engage in big office-wide conversations about it. They both announced on the same day so it was kind of all anybody talked about for a week. I work in an open office plan so it's not like I could remove myself from the situation. I'd just sit at my desk silently trying not to cry. One time everybody was talking about baby names and this one co-worker in particular (not the pregnant one) who is in her mid-20s kept talking about her and her fiance's "plan" and when they will get pregnant and all this stuff. It made me want to scream! She instigated almost every conversation about pregnancy and children w/ the two expecting co-workers because she is genuinely interested in the topic. But one time when she was talking specifically to me (unsolicited, obviously) about her family plan I just had enough and was like "hopefully you don't have any trouble getting pregnant." That shut her up! In retrospect I feel bad about saying it, but thank Goddess she has stopped gushing over babies EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

@bizwitch: I'm sorry that you are scared. I hope that you can get some solid (and maybe easily correctable?) answers on what is going on. I'm sure it is so hard to listen to people gush and blab on, it would break my heart. Thinking of you!!

Congrats to all the BFP ladies! Very exciting! Good luck to those still waiting to test or moving onto a new cycle. It's a particular and unique struggle...who would have thought we'd be agonizing over pee sticks like this? And tracking temps, etc.

I'm waiting one more cycle, but I already set up an appt for early Oct with my doctor to discuss options. Onward and forward for us! At least the fall and winter months makes for great BD'ing time, right?
