Ugh, it's "clearer" in person. I need a better picture!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I don't see a line in the picture, but I know faint lines don't photograph well. Hoping for an even stronger for you!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Sorry I can't see it, but agree that picture isn't helping. Try no flash near a window or light source.

@peachykeen: If you O'd on the 6th then you're 13 dpo. How long's your LP? Maybe you have a few days?

@peachykeen: @Banana330: I can't really see it either. Gonna try pictures near a window! Gotta make DD pancakes first. Blah, lol.

Ugh, I can't get it to show up. Maybe I'm imagining it. I wish now that I had kept my pee to dip a first response test in there. Ugh

@Banana330: According to my app LP was apparently only 11 days last month, but generally 12-13. I had my IUD out end of March so not a ton of cycles to compare it to. I think talking to you about my cycle being fairly regular post-IUD jinxed it

  7. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@peachykeen: or maybe it's getting longer?

I went to the naturopath last night, she started me on vitex to help regulate cycles and upped my protein for every meal. Also said no snacking (which will be very hard!) but she thinks it will help with hormone regulation to balance insulin a bit better. At least AF showed up so i'm no longer in limbo.

@Emsmems: @Banana330: @mrsbrewer: Thank you. I had some takeout Japanese for dinner, and a good book. I need to figure out how to lengthen my luetal phase. I got pregnant with a 10 day Lp, but I know 8 days wont cut it!

  9. abbydabbydoodlebug

    nectarine / 2636 posts

@Banana330: my GP does integrative medicine and she put me on d-chiro inositol for my insulin levels, but the reviews on amazon have tons of women talking about taking to help their fertility. So it must be connected I guess!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I mighttttt see it on the first picture. Very faintly. Good luck!!

    @dcyogabee sorry you are out

@abbydabbydoodlebug: maybe I'm crazy but I feel like I can see the faintest of lines on both!

    pear / 1648 posts

@Banana330: That sounds like good advice for me as well. I do snack a lot more than I should, especially when I'm stressed...

I noticed that my protein intake was lacking when I was pregnant with DD and made a conscious effort to increase it while nursing and continuing on to now as well. I should start bringing healthier snacks to work - I have almonds but I'm always starving when I get home and snack on carb-y foods while I'm prepping dinner. Oops.

  13. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@peachykeen: me too! it's so hard not to cause they are easy and quick. I'm hoping the extra protein in my meals will keep my fuller longer so I don't have to snack.

The other thing she suggested to me was to eat only one type of protein a meal for the next month to see if it helps with a bit of weight loss (and hormones). So only dairy, or nuts, or soy or beans etc (I'm veggie so this is limiting in some ways), something about mixed proteins compete with each other to provide nutrients.

@psw27: @cyndistar3: whaaaat! For real? Oh man. How am I gonna wait till tomorrow? Uuuugh! Thanks for giving me some hope!

Though, I am almost terrified to actually be pregnant because of 2 previous losses. I never want to go thru that ever again. I just hope when I get pregnant that it sticks.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Eek! I blew the pictures up on my computer and could see it still! I hope its not my mind playing tricks on me! Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow -- good luck being patient, I know it's hard!

So I tested this afternoon but I couldn't see a line.... I'm going to test tomorrow morning but I'm not sure how yet without DH knowing. I want to surprise him this time. I'm feeling all the pregnancy symptoms. Tired, not hungry, nauseous.

  17. cyndistar3

    pomegranate / 3980 posts

@MrsBrewer: It can be pretty hard trying to be sneaky lol, last time I just got up pretty early while he was still in bed. I thought for sure he was going to walk in 😂 good luck!

On another note, you'd think by this point I'd be better at this. But no... I'm impatient and going crazy. I have been extremely tired, sore nips, I had cramping a day or so ago, feeling soooo nauseated and emotional and nothing but jello sounds good lol.

@cyndistar3: that's a good idea, maybe I will try to wake up early. But I'll have to get it ready tonight so I'm not too loud! I'll hide it in the towels or something tonight! Hahaha

Tested this morning and.... but I'm only 9DPO according to my chart. So there's still hope!! So DD woke up this morning at like 6:30 and I asked if he wanted to get her or should I. And he wanted to stay in bed. So I told him I had an "upset stomach" and it might be a few minutes.... Hahaha not sure how many times I can use that one, but it worked! I got the test ready last night and hid it under the sink!

    You guys!

It's definitely a positive! Totally thought I was out this month. I have no clue how far along I am because I should be 14 days past ovulation. The line is pretty faint.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Congrats! My lines never got very dark, and I'm sitting here nursing my 9 week old. After 3 losses, I understand how scary it can be. Just call your dr and let them know on Monday. Hopefully they'll do some betas or early scans for some reassurance. Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy

Thanks y'all! I'm like, is this even real? I'm really nervous about 1.keeping it a secret and 2.sticking.

I'm going to call for progesterone supplement on Monday. And maybe my obgyn will want betas done.

So I tested again this morning with an Internet cheapie, ugh! I'm not convinced either way. I thiiiiiiink I may see a shadow.... But then again I may not. There's like a stupid dent on my test right where the test line is and that's really throwing me off. I would grab the test that was bent this morning!! Lol. Anyways. Here's to tomorrow! Tomorrow will be 11 DPO. So hopefully it should be accurate by now!

Edit- added pic for reference. Pretty sure there's no line though.

@MrsBrewer: I see the dent and sometimes see a shadow but not when I zoom in at all. Definitely try again tomorrow
