    @littleblessings: Congras!!!

Today/last night is ovulation day. I will try to get in one last attempt tonight since I got the positive opk yesterday afternoon just in case egg hasn't released yet.

@littleblessings: I tested On Saturday and got a I'll test again tomorrow but I'm not thinking it's happening this month. Which is ok, if not I will be able to drink on my trip this weekend!

@littleblessings: Doing good as my TWW begins, just wondering what the hell is up with my cervix. It's so high I can barely touch it and pretty firm - have no idea what that could mean. Also my first month charting CP and firmness so maybe this is normal for me - it just doesn't jive with traditional wisdom which says the cervix is SHOW (soft, high, open and wet) during ovulation. Mine just gets higher and firmer! Still have not really gotten a temp shift either despite the fact that CM has all but dried up since early yesterday morning.

It's like the more information I gather about my body the more confused I am! Here's my chart if anybody can shed some light.

    pear / 1739 posts

@Emsmems: it's not over til AF arrives!

@bizwitch: I never kept track of my cervix. I only did temps and opk. Your star is different at the top of Day 13. It looks like that may be the day you ovulated. I use FF so I know nothing about kindara

  9. dominobee

    pear / 1553 posts

@littleblessings: I don't take that star to mean too much, as there's not enough temp or CM data in my app to change the O date. It's basically just based on when an "average" woman with a 26-day cycle would ovulate. And I've yet to get a positive OPK. Who knows! Hopefully I have covered my bases though, with BD on CD 8, 10, 12 and 13. Hoping for a true temp shift tomorrow!!

    Ehh screw it, I'll join.

I've been following along, but reluctant to join. But, I decided to just go for it, so here I am!

Cycle Day: 21 (out of a 31-ish day cycle)
    TTC Cycle: 3
    Ovulation Date: not 100% sure. I had 3 days of positive opk's....which was CD 17, 18, and 19 (Aug 5, 6, and 7)
POAS Date: somewhere around 8/15 or 8/16. We'll see how long I can hold out.
    Baby #: 3
What's up this month: 3rd month trying and wavering between being totally laid back about it and totally psycho. It's a fine line. Lol While we aren't in any rush to get pregnant right away (after all, we have a 1 year old at home), I'm afraid because of my age it'll take some time. Both boys were conceived quickly, as well as my m/c, so we'll see! I have NO idea what's up with my long LH surge this month though, and the past two months AF has been weird. TTC totally messes my cycle up! lol
For Fun - What is your favorite dessert? I like all desserts, minus cheesecake.

Tested this morning and . Of course it's too early so now I wish I hadn't tested at all! My last cycle was very short so I thought maybe... ugh.

  17. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

Negative this morning at 10 dpo. Also a temp drop to close, but not below the coverline, but not sure how reliable my temp was this morning. First month temping, and not expecting AF until Saturday, would a temp drop 3 days before AF starts be normal?

Feeling pretty out this month, although I know anything is possible. Our timing was really good and I had a strong positive OPK plus a temp shift. Bummer. This also pushes a potential due date out to pretty close or past LO1's 4th bday.

    @Revel: could be implantation dip?

I totally forgot how frustrating this process was last time.

  20. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@Banana330: yes! Like @ValentineMommy said, it's a fine line until you cross over to crazy. It's another reason I'm leery to go all in TTC. Especially, if it takes a while.

  21. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

@Banana330: possible? Seems late but now you've got me searching charts with late hpts and I do see some dips in the 10 to 12 dpo range. I guess maybe I'll know more tomorrow.

I get my thyroid tested periodically because of a family history, and I mentioned to my doc that we are ttc and my cycles are more irregular lately than normal, and she is also going to test hormones and vit D for me as well. I may be getting ahead of myself, but I figure I'm 36 and they're drawing the blood anyways.

  22. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@Revel: I just looked at my chart with my DD, I did have a dip below the coverline but it was 4dpo.

I think i'm going to start temping next month.

  23. peachykeen

    pear / 1648 posts

@Banana330: I'm 4dpo and my temp just dipped this morning - I was thinking that was a negative thing but you're giving me hope! Seems too early for implantation, no?

  24. psw27

    pomelo / 5220 posts

@ValentineMommy: Welcome! I'm also a borderline pyscho but trying to be laid back.

So today was supposed to be my POAS day... but I had two frustrating/lame experiences. First, I was being a pyscho and POAS 2 days ago - but it was an expired clearblue (which are crappy to begin with, let alone expired) so I didn't expect anything and it was a BFN. Yesterday I continued to be a pyscho and POAS on a first response and it was a complete dud! Like the control line didn't even show up. So... I feel like I'm jinxed and I didn't even bother POAS this morning. I might just wait til AF comes, which is coming up on Sunday or Monday. I feel nothing, no symptoms and no implantation bleeding (I had that last time) so I'm guessing I'm out. I guess I should start temping next month.

  25. Banana330

    nectarine / 2317 posts

@peachykeen: I don't think so. but my temps were always up and down post O

@psw27: That's the second bad FRER this month by people. I wonder if they have a bad batch? I kinda wish there was a way to test to say "yup it didn't work this month AF is coming" rather than negative tests saying "not pregnant but you could be"

  26. psw27

    pomelo / 5220 posts

@Banana330: I actually went on amazon to order more and read the recent reviews and there are loads of 1 star reviews saying that they are duds now and gave them false positives - which would crush me! My tests were bought a while ago (probably at least 6 months ago?) but don't expire til 2017. I'm not sure I would even trust it. I have some wondfos coming in the mail today so I could try those if I'm feeling POAS motivated later!

I am remaining hopeful, slightly annoyed at how long my LP usually is...15 days or so. How long is everyone else's?

On another note, my chart looks triphasic? Maybe? This is my first time temping all the way through a cycle, so no idea what is normal for me. I typically have signs of high progesterone right before AF (nausea, namely). So this could be my "normal".

  28. Bibliolove

    kiwi / 526 posts

@Revel: that could be implantation? I wouldn't get too discouraged by that drop, unless the next few days show declining temps.

  29. psw27

    pomelo / 5220 posts

@Bibliolove: That's a good looking chart! Temps staying up is a good sign right? My LP is shorter, maybe only 12-14 days.

    @Bibliolove: Looks promising!

  31. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

@psw27: totally feel you on the testing! I tested negative yesterday too at 9 dpo - now just burnt out on the whole thing.

@Bibliolove: nice looking chart! My LP has almost always been 12 days with rare spotting. Of course today, in addition to the temp drop, I have some spotting which would be a 9 day LP. I also o'd much earlier than normal for me.

Attaching my chart for us all to kill some time, haha. I had 3 days of + opks, but day 2 was the darkest, and also lined up with cramps etc, but I'm wondering if maybe O could have been on Mon 8/1?

  32. psw27

    pomelo / 5220 posts

@Revel: I think you O'd most likely on 31st! That big temp drop at 2 days of OPK+. I wonder if you are having a late implantation dip today?

  33. Bibliolove

    kiwi / 526 posts

@Revel: I'd say the 31st as well...the temp hike after it and temp drop before it looks like FF is correct. Your timing looks great!

Really wishing I'd bought OPKs this cycle. My CM is on point for CD24 and I'm referencing my cycles from 2014 to check symptoms.

Two of my good friends now have confirmed pregnancies and I'm ready to jump on the baby train!

@psw27: 12-14 day lp is perfectly normal! Mine was 10 days pre-pregnancy, and has been 8 days postpartum.

@MrsBrewer: I know! Our timing wasn't spot on though. O-3, and O-2 only. I hope to see you in the tww soon!!

    Cycle Day: 27
TTC Cycle: ? I've had 3 periods since giving birth. We have somewhat tried each time, but DH wasn't always sure if he was ready. This was the first we truly tried.
Ovulation Date: positive opk 8/1 and 8/2
    POAS Date: started today
    Baby #: 2
What's up this month: I still can't temp because DS wakes up unpredictably at night, so all I have is CM and opks. Still nursing so my cycles have been all over the place but shortening so I'm hopeful they are regulating! Previously, I have started my period 4-5 days after +opk. I'm currently on 7-8 days post +opk so that's progress!
For Fun - What is your favorite dessert? Oh so many, maybe brownies?

Well it looks as though I will not be having an April baby. I had a big ole temp drop this morning. Just heart-hurt today. It's a full year now of trying. Good luck to all left.
