@bibliolove My heart goes out to you. It's so hard when AF comes every month. It's why me and DH stopped trying for a couple months, just to save ourselves the disappointment.

@Bibliolove: Sorry about the temp drop. I always found doing something I couldn't do if I was pregnant was a good distraction... wine!

@Bibliolove: Sorry to hear that! I remember being really disappointed in April with my temp drop and ultimately had a June baby. It'll work out! (Wine and friends are an excellent distraction).

@Bibliolove: it is really tough. Sending good vibes your way. I'm not sure how much I like temping in the 2WW, there's something about the temp drops that is so deflating.
Neg for me this am, although temp was up a little from my drop yesterday. I'm pretty sure I'm out, going to wait until Sunday to test again if AF doesn't show.

@dc yoga bee: Well hey according to the Shettles Method, if you get pregnant, that would mean a girl! hahaha I'm on CD 21, and my temps still haven't spiked, they are slowly climbing, so I'm crossing my fingers in the next day or so maybe!

@Bibliolove: It can get really sad after a while. Be kind to yourself .
@MrsBrewer: lol with DD we hit o-2, o-1, and o. I was sure she would be a he.

Thank you for the well wishes! I feel a bit better. There is homemade sangria to look forward to this weekend. I'm not so sure about temping during the TWW the next go around either, I let it mess with my mind too much.

It's all such a weird mindf*ck. I will POAS the week of the 22nd and of course I would be thrilled to get a positive.
But then there's this tiny bit of me that wants to be able to drink during Labor Day weekend, when my husband's and my baseball teams are going to a huge baseball tournament in rural West Virginia. Camping with 50 of our closest friends. And of course if I don't drink one beer in three days I'll start getting peppered with questions.
But then another part of me feels bad for even thinking that! For thinking about how I'd like to drink that weekend. It's such a minor sacrifice to make this dream of being parents come true. It makes me feel like an ass! And super selfish.
Of course if we got a positive then who knows how I would actually feel. Maybe I would totally forget about drinking because I would be so excited. It is so hard to speculate on how I'd feel because we've never gotten anything beyond a squinter w/ a CP.

@Bibliolove: sorry to hear about the temp drop.
I'm pretty sure I'm out. All the signs are pointing towards AF arriving either today or tomorrow.

@bizwitch: I totally get where you're coming from. Even though I really want to be pregnant, I feel a lot of conflicting emotions through each cycle. I think looking at those silver linings like your big event with friends is totally legitimate and healthy! I really wanted an April baby but the fact that it didn't happens means I won't have a ton of travel to deal with in the first tri, which is probably a good thing for me.

@Eko: err not sure... might see a shadow. do you have a pic that's in focus better?
pear / 1553 posts
@Eko: Maybe... But I can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me. Hard to say.
nectarine / 2317 posts
@Eko: hmm still can't tell. sorry!
edited *maybe see something but can't tell if i'm getting line eye

@bizwitch: @Banana330: Thanks for indulging me! I'm going to test in the am and see if I get a better result. This one was not my best shot.

@Eko: I'm looking really hard, and maybe. But, maybe my mind's eye is putting it there. Do you see one in person?!?
nectarine / 2148 posts
@dc yoga bee: I do! It's really inbetween. I'll take one in the morning and if it's there should be a little more clear.

@Banana330: is that a normal thing for you? Having a lot of discharge was always a sign for me I was pregnant.
nectarine / 2317 posts
@Eko: I remember it when I was pregnant last time. But I haven't had a real period since then (2yrs now) I had an IUD since birth so just occasional spotting and I only got it out last month.

@Banana330: my answer won't be super helpful, but I do remember this from when I was pregnant with LO. I feel like it was kind of like, milky/ewcm? That said I get some before AF comes too, but it is more just, watery? I hope it's a sign for you!

@Eko: I spent most of the morning looking at a FRER just like this, trying to figure out if I could imagine a line or not. I'm pretty sure mine was just the little indent where the line would be. Womp
I *really* should just quit peeing on sticks until after AF is due. It's getting depressing and expensive!

@Eko: @Revel: ya I've googled it and it seems it could be a normal thing before AF or I'm pregnant. I remember after my last bfp being super wet during pregnancy but can't be sure it was like that before. Maybe I'll test tomorrow just in case
nectarine / 2317 posts
@MrsF: ha! I did that on wed. Looking for the slightest hint. It was nothing.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Banana330: Same here. I'm officially a crazy person.
With my BFP for DD I first saw it when I dug the test out of the trash so of course I'm now tempted to do that all day long...
nectarine / 2317 posts
@MrsF: me too! I went back to my test at least three times before I gave up and decided I was crazy.
nectarine / 2148 posts
@MrsF: I probably should too, but there are a lot of things I should probably do

@bizwitch: I've discovered the wonders of non-alcoholic beers. They've come a long way since the days of just O'Doul's. I had a good one from Holland last week that most people wouldn't recognize as non-alcoholic. I've been using that as my cover. Might work for your camping trip if you decide to go the no-alcohol route.

So I didn't test this morning because DD and DH were in the bathroom with me. I'll wait until tomorrow. AF is due today or tomorrow so we'll see if she shows up first

Holy cow!!! I think I actually O'd!!!! Ahh first time ever without Clomid!!! So... I think I'll test next Friday!!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsBrewer: get out! Are you me?!? My cycle started 7/22, and I o'ed the 19th, and BD two days before O. And will be testing next Friday!
