@pui: When was your last dose of clomid? If you started using opks while still taking it or even up to a couple of days after you can get false positives.
@lindseyinny: Boo AF! Sorry, lady.
bananas / 9899 posts
@AlmostMrsG: I did hear that, but I also heard that by 2 days after the last pill OPKs should be functional. So my positives on CD12 and CD13 should be real ones for sure.
In any case I plan on continuing to test and BD until I see a sustained temp rise.

@LindsayInNY: I'm sorry lady. Hang in there, I totally get your frustration. I agree, B6 helps but it also causes a lot of confusion and lengthening of cycles. I started taking it 1-2 x a week at most. We will see. CD 17 already and no + OPK so I am thinking I either missed it or this is going to be a long cycle.
I can't wait until you get your BFP> I am still keeping my fx for you. If not this month, hopefully you will be the first BFP of September! Sending good thoughts your way- take it easy today and enjoy a glass of wine if AF does show.

@LiliBillie: I'm sorry, lady. But good luck in November!
@LindsayinNY: I am so sorry, lady. But I am glad that this crazy cycle is over for you! Hang in there, lady

@heybrookeashley: I feel the same way you do. I got a positive OPK and we BDed all around that. So why no BFP? I don't trust the OPKs anymore and will totally be the BDing queen if I don't get a BFP this month.
@LindsayInNY: gees, friend. I'm so sorry about the oncoming of AF. Hopefully you get some better timing next month. I came on HB today just to see if you had updated. I'm always thinking positively for you.

I *think* today officially marks the transition to TWW! OPK this afternoon was as dark as the contol line, making it by far the darkest I've had. Considering it was not very concentrated pee, that seems good. And if you add the state of cervical fluid, and my libido today, everything points to O! Did some BDing earlier, complete with staying horizontal for 20 minutes and all that, and thinking about pushing for some more soon (though that's more the aforementioned libido talking than the ttc). So time for crossed fingers and baby dust! Hope I don't drive myself nuts!
Also, @pui, can you move me up to the 1fth on the summary for poas day? 12dpo sounds good
Edit- 1fth? Silly phone. 16th!

@lizsmith that's so exciting! FX for you...TWW was so brutal for me that I caved a little earlier... baby dust!

Hi Ladies! I hope it's not too late to join the fun with all of you awesome August POAS!
It's been an emotionally difficult 6+ months of discussions with DH and myself to get on the same page about family planning. He wants to have a family but struggles with anxiety which makes life changes really hard to manage. This has stalled our plans. But, we've recently decided to give-it-a-go for the next few months and see what happens. His anxiety is still very much present though so it makes it hard for me to be 100% excited. We're doing our best to navigate it together every day. I wish we could be excited together from the start but I think it will be all that much sweeter when we get through this and are able to put the anticipation of the big change behind us and move forward as a family of three.
Cycles Trying: 1st TTC. Last month was NTNP and before that we were actively preventing. I've been off BC since January.
Current Cycle Day: CD8
Estimated Ovulation Date: CD12-CD13
POAS Date: Aug. 25th. Last month I was symptom spotting like crazy and quickly realized how agro it made me. I'm going to *try* to wait for day of AF to test. I'll be out of town for work 10-14DPO so that should make it easy to be distracted from POAS. (yeah right!)
BD Timing: DH and I have only recently decided we're on the same page with baby plans. I'm trying desperately not to freak him out with all the baby talk. So, we've agreed to keep it casual and have fun. I may be charting like a maniac but trying not to let it show. I'm aiming for EOD until 1DPO.
Anything new or extra this cycle? It's all new to me. Thanks for letting me learn along with you other mama's to be.
What’s your favorite midnight snack? Popcorn with butter and salt, popped fresh on the stove-top!
Happy BDing y'all.

@MRSHONEYBEAR: hi! Welcome! We are glad you're here. It sounds like you have had an interesting journey already. I know how stressful dealing with anxiety can be. But hopefully, you both can have some fun this month. Luck and baby dust to you!

Cycles Trying: 7 or 8 now
Current Cycle Day: not sure - I stopped keeping track to keep myself sane
Estimated Ovulation Date: CD 12-14
POAS Date: Sometime next week I think
BD Timing: EOD for sure, if not more after CD 10
Anything new or extra this cycle? No tracking, no stressing - we are just finishing up a 9 day vacation which was wonderful and relaxing and lots of BD
And bonus question: What’s your favourite midnight snack? Anything lol
I'm not a super religious person but have been praying for a sticky baby this month and doing my best not to overthink things and worry. I almost bought a FRER yesterday but still too early and I think i"ll just wait until I am supposed to get AF. I have been bad at taking any pre-natal pills but didn't drink at all on vacation (not a huge deal for me, not a big drinker anyway). We went through some major relationship rough patches in the last two months and DH is more aware of how I really want this and not fighting with me about anything to ease any stress.

@MRSHONEYBEAR: Welcome! I hope that your DH is able to slowly overcome his anxiety. It sounds like you are a very caring partner to him.
@babycanuck: Never too late to join! I hope you can keep your stress down. Have you tried Circle & Bloom? It's been helping me stay calm this cycle.
