@PEAPIE: Hi there! I'm doing just fine I suppose. I do not have anything suspicious going on during this TWW. I could go crazy trying to symptom spot, but I am refraining from doing so. How about you? Feeling anything????
apricot / 344 posts
@MrsMcD: Sorry for tempting you to speculate! I take a similar approach, but man, I am having an uncomfortable day sitting at my desk with weird pinching cramps. I'm trying to remind myself that it could be NOTHING.

@PEAPIE: I wish I was having pinching cramps!!! But I am sorry that you are and really hope those cramps aren't for nothing.

@MrsMcD: @PEAPIE: Don't you wish you could look into the future and know the result? All the speculating is ROUGH...

And an update from me, I'm pretty sure I'm already out this month, and my CD20 +OPK Wednesday was another "too little too late" attempt by my body. My +OPK was at about 4 in the afternoon, and by about 11pm the second line was already pretty faded, as was the OPK before the +OPK at 10am that morning. And no real temp rise yet: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsSprite
I also got my 21 day Progesterone test results back today, and they were pathetically low for the second month in a row. I know the test is supposed to be taken 7DPO, but my doctor wanted me to come in anyway on CD21, despite the +OPK on CD20, just for the baseline measurement to compare against last month (and last month I never got a +OPK at all). On the off chance I actually make it to what would be 7 days past my +OPK this month (not likely because past two cycles have only been 25 days), they want me to come back for a second Progesterone test. But if AF shows before then, my doctor has already called in a prescription for the next higher dose of Clomid for next cycle, 100mg.
But hey, at least I didn't get two +OPKs a week apart this cycle, or no +OPK at all. So progress I guess? Struggling to keep a positive outlook, but planning a busy weekend to keep myself distracted.

@littlek: "Daddy, buy me a crystal ball for Christmas so that I can know whether my TWW symptoms are real." (Sorry... this is seriously an inside joke with my sister.. we say to each other "Daddy, buy me a_______" whenever we want something totally outrageous. Its funny because our dad never buys us what we want.)

@Sprite: Aw boo that's too bad. Did you doctor put you on Clomid to try and lengthen your LP?
Hopefully the next dose up helps you!

@littlek: @MrsMcD: I'm generally a patient person, but this TWW thing is a whole new world.
@Sprite: I'm sorry lady. I love that you're staying positive though! It will all be worth the effort! hugs!

@pui: The clomid was to make me ovulate "stronger" since my body seems to gear up to O, and then not really do it so it tries again, which is indicated by getting multiple, spread out +OPKs or Peak fertility monitor readings in the same cycle. The short cycles are a newer thing, which I'm hoping can sort themselves out between the clomid and starting B-Complex this cycle.
Recent past cycles have been:
25 Days: no +OPKs or Peak monitor readings, but did get a temp shift that indicated possible O on CD18
25 Days: Peak monitor reading CD11&12 and +OPK CD20
31 Days: no +OPKs or Peak monitor readings
29 Days: no +OPKs
32 Days: +OPK CD12 and +OPK CD28
So it's kind of a who-knows-what-is-going-on situation right now. I sure can't find a reliable pattern in my charts.
@littlek: and @PEAPIE: thanks ladies. Rooting for your BFPs next week though!

@peapie: Oo, multiple eggs would be great. I'm going to choose that line of thinking, maybe thinking it will make it so? Thanks for the reply.
@torchwood: Thank you! Let's hope that if it's that, it succeeds! C'mon ovaries! We can do it!

@Sprite: Yuck, I'm sorry. I'll keep my FX for some more progress for you!

Anybody else in the drink til it's pink mindset? As much as I want to create a healthy environment for the lil babe, I just can't handle doin something preemptively that will inevitably get my hopes up anymore.
But doesn't alcohol lower progesterone levels? Oy!

@buttermilk: I don't drink during the 2WW... on one hand I see what you are saying that it really sucks to forgo a nice relaxing glass of wine because you might be pregnant, but at the same time as soon as I think about drinking I think "but what if I am?" :\
pomelo / 5607 posts
@buttermilk: I don't (and I avoid caffeine and stuff), but I've always felt like until the placenta forms and all, a little can't hurt? Hell, most doctors/midwives agree that a little can't hurt, period. They don't know how much it takes to cause problems (no way to study it), but it's definitely not one or two glasses here or there.

@runnerd: I'm just about to go out and meet DH for a drink. I babysat my two year old niece. I need a drink STAT!
bananas / 9229 posts
@buttermilk: I drink the first week of the TWW but not the second week. I love my wine and beer but if I'm pregnant, I won't be able to drink anyways so what's another week?
grape / 99 posts
@buttermilk: I'm on the fence about drinking during the tww. I'm not against it but I'm definitely more mindful about if I really want a drink or just drinking to drink.
I texted DH yesterday to tell him I was getting sushi with a gf for dinner and his response was "can you do that if there's a bean inside?". I about melted from the adorableness bc he seemed so genuinely concerned. I told him it was a-ok and there would be plenty of time for obstaining from things in the future if we're so lucky. And I had a glass of wine with the sushi!

@pui: I tested this morning as soon as I got up...bfn my period tracker app says that AF should be here today, but I'm guessing she will probably wait till tomorrow or Monday. Weird thing is I don't have any symptoms of AF or pregnancy; no sore boobs, no bloating, no cramps, nothing! I'm going to try to not let if ruin my Saturday, but I'm pretty disappointed. I probably won't test anymore unless for some reason AF doesn't show up on Monday.

@CharityAnne: Sorry to hear...
Did you chart this cycle? Is it possible you O'd later than you thought?

@buttermilk: I'm in the drink til its pink camp. I avoided drinking alcohol/caffeine the first few months TTC, but after the months were slooowly passing (and still no BFP) I decided it wasn't worth putting my life on hold for 2 weeks every month! <<to clarify, it's not like I get trashed every night, ha! Some wine or wine coolers here and there

Yeah I've been watching my consumption and abstaining except for when I am in social situations. I don't really think it can affect the baby that much this early on, and am mostly curious if it has an affect on yr chances of getting pregnant.
We will see!
@charityanne hoping you still get some good news!

AUGH I could kill DH right now!!
We have a VOIP home line. We have set it up so that voicemail gets sent to my DH's personal email. Well my DH didn't check the messages for weeks and it turns out the RE had called us back 10 DAYS AGO.
I could have already been in there and getting checked on and everything!!!
Grrrr...

@T.H.O.U.: Congrats!
@buttermilk: I'm in the drink until its pink camp but have cut back since TTC. A glass of wine here or there, but definitely not raging. And cut back from 4-5 coffees a day to 1-2, which is a win in my book

@pui: omg that is so frustrating!! Hopefully you can get I. To the dr soon
Fwiw, I was in the drink til it's pink camp. I'm a little sad about the 1/2 bottle of wine left in my fridge that I won't get to finish now!

@CharityAnne: Boo! I'm so sorry. There's still hope--no symptoms can be a good thing! But, love your positive attitude. It's Saturday and it's going to be a darn good one!

Y'all, I know I'm over thinking this but have any of you got a BFP without BDing on your charted O day? I'm almost positive I O'd yesterday due to temp spike today and CM changes but we weren't able to BD yesterday due to extenuating circumstances. Probably not today either. However, we did each of the two days prior to my suspected O. Just bummed that after finally getting on the same page maybe timing didn't work out just right. Time will tell. Hello TWW!
bananas / 9899 posts
@MRSHONEYBEAR: Are you on FF? Search the chart galleries for charts where pregnancy happened with BD timed the same way you have!
grape / 99 posts
@pui: DUDE, not cool! I'm sure you feel like you could wring his neck.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@CharityAnne: You're not out of it yet! When I got my BFP I was *convinced* there was no way I was KU, because I had zero symptoms. I was wrong!
@pui: I would be so upset! Hope you can get in asap!
@MRSHONEYBEAR: When I got my BFP, I wasn't charting so I don't know for sure when I O'd, but I'm almost certain from symptoms we didn't get exactly the right day. DH was working (literally) 80+ hours weeks and we only managed to BD once in even the right week. But it was close enough and it worked!
