@mrshoneybear: i really don't think you've hurt your chances. especially if you BD'd the 2 days before! i think that's actually even better because who knows exactly what time of day you O'd and how long the egg hung around for so i think it would be better to make sure there's some spermies already there waiting on it!

Sigh - I've been spotting the last few days so I'm thinking AF is on her way. I had some hope that the spotting was implantation bleeding when it was brown but now it's bright red

@pui: 9 ishhh......I really don't know last I went to RE on the 2nd for bloodowork because AF was a no show last month and she said my levels showed that I just had ovulated......???? So I could be 9-10 DPO!

Just did an OPK and it was a stark negative, so I guess my weird long surge ended at some point the last couple of days (I stopped testing after 8 positives in a row and crosshairs).

I think Aug is the wacky month, I have a feeling after all our crazy surges, hormones, spotting ladadada we will ALL get BFP!!!!

@pui: I don't know if this will help you... I look at hope that if you hope for something, you have that thing while you're hoping for it. Since you're going to be disappointed even if you didn't hope for it, may as well 'have' it for a time before the disappointment. So I like to relish the hope and swim in it until my fingers get all prune-y. I know that can make the disappointment worse and that sucks. Still, if I get two weeks of happiness out of the hope, it seems worth it to me.
If that didn't help (it can seem unhelpful if you consider it logically), I offer you a *HUG* - and the reminder that you're surrounded by the comfort of a bunch of Bees who know just what you're going through!

so sweet! I'm tryjng to be positive AF is here I'm beyond bummed, I'm out of town and suppose to go to RE on cycle day 2 for monitoring so I can start meds again I won't be able to make it it is early, I am debating on calling Monday and seeing if going inTuesday is a big deal or what?!?!? But....... I'm a teacher and my first week back is next week I have a mandatory training tuesday and "if" I do decide to go my RE is about 45mins away so in would have to take the morning off, also all the monitoring would fall in the first 2 weeks of school being back, I teach 1st grade......I feel soooo torn on either to suck it up and just start meds if I can get in on cycle day 3 or not go nuts and wait till next month?!?!?!?!??! Ughhhh I'm sooo confused!!!! I'm in tears over what to do...........HELP!!!!!!

I'm not counting myself out yet but I probably should. Google is not good for my sanity - it seems like anything could possibly be a sign of pregnancy (even spotting) so I keep holding out hope even though I'm 99 percent sure I'm not actually pregnant. What a rollercoaster of emotions this TWW is - so thankful that I have this forum.
I'm crossing my fingers for all of you!

Hi all - sorry to have been MIA for a few days! Congrats to all of the BFPs. So exciting!
Updates for me are a bunch of BFNs that I probably had no business taking. I spent time with a pregnant friend who went through similarly long cycles and was convinced that it's probably time to see an RE. She said that brought her a sense of control she didn't have before. So... I have an appointment on the 19th for an initial visit.
In the meantime, having some signs of ovulation (cm) so keeping up the BD just in case. DH said, "Wouldn't it be funny if we go to the consult and do bloodwork and say 'um, you're pregnant.'"
I'd take that, for sure!!

@tarabonno: It can't hurt to see an RE. In my books anything that will get me an LO faster (besides kidnapping lol) is a good thing! In the meantime, BD!! I Share your DHs dream of finding out I'm pregnant while at the RE haha.
