My temps have all been above the coverline, but they're not that much higher than my temps before O. Is this normal/fine? This is the first time I have been able to confirm O so I'm not sure what is right.

@pui: I think as long as you have a solid cover line still then I wouldn't worry about it. Since your OPKs have gone negative I think you can be fairly confident you ovulated.

@Littlebit: Mine is 14. A range of 12 to 16 is what I've heard is typical, everyone is different, but I think 14 is pretty average. U

I'm coming out of hiding here and going to admit to POAS for a couple months now, but was to afraid to openly admit after my m/c earlier this year (blighted ovum). But I've been lurking on this board and so excited for all you ladies!

    Cycles Trying: 2
    Current Cycle Day: 12DPO
    Estimated Ovulation Date: 8/1
    POAS Date: 8/14
    BD Timing: 4 days before O, 2 and 1 day before O
Anything new or extra this cycle? No
Link to your chart (if you have one and want to share): I was taking notes but didn't actually track it on FF

    @T.H.O.U.: Congrats!!!!!!

I'm definitely out for August AF arrived yesterday. I'm not the best at keeping up with the thread, but I would love to join again in September! I have my fingers crossed for everyone else...hopefully the rest of August brings a lot of BFP's!

So, I totally forgot to POAS today. It was LOs first day at new daycare, so I've been distracted. I keep waiting for AF to show up, if she doesn't show up by Wednesday I will POAS.

@cookie_dough: Sorry about AF. Join again in September

@littleveesmommy: I'm sorry for your loss earlier this spring. I had a blighted ovum in March as well. Its been a tough road getting things back to normal, but I'm so excited. I am very nervous about getting too excited until I see a strong heartbeat this time. At least I can be excited here with this group and know everyone will understand and be so supportive if something does happen.

@littlek: Hope LO does well today! You are doing pretty good waiting!

So somebody tell me why I got a positive opk on July 27 but my period a lot of the time won't come until the same calendar day each month? Example..my period came July 12 and even though my period tracker app said it would come on Saturday, I wouldn't be surprised if it came today since it's the 12th. Does that mean my LP is long or something? Or should I have kept using opk's past the first positive to better track when exactly I ovulate? The last two months once I got a positive I stopped testing and we just BD'd for the next few days to be safe. I'm just confused!

AHH I go on vacation for a week with no internet service and look what happens! Congrats @SupernovaJ, @chibee, @nana87, and @T.H.O.U.!!!!!! H&H 9months!

As for us, I've come to the realization that our first month TTC is not going to pan out date-wise. DH is out of the country until around 5DPO so that's not gonna happen *womp womp* Oh well! I'll keep all this positive energy and put it towards a sucessful September.

Can't wait to see more August s!! Good luck this morning @MrsMcD!

@pui: The coverline is really just to help you see the shift in temps, it doesn't mean a whole lot. However, it can mean that your progesterone is low if you have a slow rise after O and/or temps are close to the line. But this is in no way true for everyone. The best indication of low P is a short LP and/or spotting before O. Nothing to worry about right now

@T.H.O.U.: There are cameras in the rooms, so I'm totally stalking him today. I will be 0% effective at work. He cried when I dropped him off and ran after me, broke my hear.

@pui: hi! I'm a big fat negative as of this morning. No AF yet. I'm on cycle day 20 and a suspected 13 DPO. Do I have any reason to still be hopeful for this month?

  24. T.H.O.U.

    wonderful clementine / 24134 posts

@MrsMcD: that would put you as ovulating at CD 7? That's really early. You said suspected, how did you calculate this and what's your normal cycle length?

  25. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@MrsMcD: How long are your cycles usually? I remember you saying they were on the shorter side, right? If you're 13DPO, then you would've Oed on CD7 - that seems really early?

  26. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@MrsMcD: Sounds like you have a short cycle like me. 24 days?

  27. deactivated_account

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts

Oh shoot! I am on cycle day 27!! I typed the wrong info. So sorry, girls. My last cycle was only something like 23 days. But I would say I'm generally 26-28 days. So I suppose AF will arrive later today. In 8 days, DH is going to have his world turned upside down by the BDing storm I will be bringing to this house!

  28. T.H.O.U.

    wonderful clementine / 24134 posts

@MrsMcD: That makes much more sense! I think you would have gotten a positive by now but you never know if you aren't sure about ovulation.

AFM, I'm now CD1 -- I don't think I've ever been excited for AF but after early miscarriage last month I'm just ready to get back and track and know what's going on. Can't wait to POAS in September! Oh and I'm super excited that EOD is now lining up with our 3 year wedding anniversary and mini-vacation in wine country and the beach next week. Can't wait for wine and BDing next week!!

@cookie_dough: Sorry! Fingers crossed for next month!

@MrsMcD: Sorry, and fingers crossed for next month, but I love the BDing storm!

@NorCalWayfarer: That sounds awesome! Hope you have a wonderful time AND make a baby!

@mfa_lady: Fingers crossed for next month! And totally agree on needing to stay busy so I don't drive myself nuts waiting on everything. I'm really grateful we're moving in a few weeks, because it's distracting me!

@pui: Thanks!!! Excited to join and speak openly about TTC again. I'm trying not to get too excited about anything but it's hard not to. Can't wait to find out!

@T.H.O.U.: I remember following you on the October 2013 board and thought of you often. You are absolutely right about having the support here. =) When is your first appt?

@Dandelion: Thanks! And a super big congrats to you. =)

@NorCalWayfarer: Thanks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Wishing you the best for September!

@T.H.O.U.: Totally with you on the worries, and being grateful for HB for support after a m/c. I'm still not sure how I'm going to feel when I get pregnant again. Right now I'm convincing myself to focus on hoping for twins. It's something different from my last, and I won't be that disappointed if it doesn't happen. It just gives me something positive to focus on with all this that doesn't remind me too much of last time.

@littleveesmommy: Sorry, I missed your post! Welcome! Your POAS day is so soon! Fingers crossed. And sorry for your loss.

Can someone please explain why it is that ONLY during the TWW do I read all sorts of stories on FB and online about parents who did something awful to their children? And then all I can think is "Seriously? They get a child? I would take such good care of a child..."
    Bah! I say: Bah!

@NorCalWayfarer: woo! Glad your body is reset and ready to go!

    persimmon / 1472 posts

@Torchwood: Thanks! I'm so antsy about POAS and I might have to jump the gun, but for now I'll see if I can hold out. I know what you mean about not knowing how you will feel about getting pregnant after a m/c. I would want to be excited but I don't want to overhype in case anything goes wrong, especially after having been through the other side. Wishing you luck on your day!

@runnerd: Thanks!!! =) Sorry about your loss and I'm hoping for the best for you on the 24th. Are you going to wait it out or test early? I have two more days and I think I may do it tomorrow hahahah

  39. mlm2934

    grapefruit / 4311 posts

@littleveesmommy: I am a compulsive early tester. I keep telling DH I wish somehow I'd get pregnant when we didnt realize like ovulate crazy early so that I'd be farther along when I find out. When it finally does happen I'm so scared of how slow those days will be, but I want to as soon as possible at the same time
