@runnerd: I know! So conflicting - want to find out early but don't want to wait so long after finding out to get confirmation. Blah...

@cookie_dough: aww boo. FX for you in september... i've always wanted a May baby!! it's a great month to get lucky.
@mfa_lady: if AF shows up, same as my comment above - i love may birthdays, it's the best time of year!
@littleveesmommy: welcome and good luck!! baby dust!!
@thismustbetheplace: thank you!
there's so much action going on in this thread. if i missed anyone good luck!! there really is so much waiting: waiting to poas, waiting in the tww, etc. cheering for you all!

@runnerd: That really would be nice. You hear about women finding out when they're already a few months in, and that would be so much easier for my worrying! But totally not gonna happen for those of us who are charting and timing and using OPK's and testing early like crazy.
@littleveesmommy: Good luck to you too! I'm totally for you testing early. I'm almost as impatient for all the other bees as I am for myself. Seeing good news makes me feel more hopeful. ^_^

@SupernovaJ: Thanks!!! =) Love being able to share my obsession here - DH thinks I'm a little nutty for counting all the days lol
@Torchwood: Lol I think that's the only nudge I need to test early. Hopeful for tomorrow (crosses fingers).
pomelo / 5607 posts
@littleveesmommy: Lotsa crossed fingers! I'll include you in my nightly wishing on a star. ^_- Also, there's no one on the list to poas tomorrow, so you should definitely fill that gap.

@littleveesmommy: want to hear new level of crazy? I just moved and I'm maxed out on med deductible for the year due to my D&C, so I was thinking I could "doctor shop" and set up appts with diff OBGYN in town by scheduling the appts with diff doc for when I would be 6 weeks every 6 weeks, so if its the lucky month I'd be set. Yea crazy....
bananas / 9229 posts
@runnerd: Not a bad idea but your insurance company may reject multiple ob/gyn visits over a short period of time. Not totally sure but I wouldn't be surprised...

@mfa_lady: I'm counting you as my TTC twin from here on out.
@T.H.O.U.: @T.H.O.U.: @NorCalWayfarer: @Torchwood: Thank you so much for your support, girs!
@sweetkeight: I absolutely feel that same way whenever I see unfit parents. Try spending a day in family court. You would just literally die over some of the stuff that goes on in there.
persimmon / 1472 posts
@Torchwood: Gah now tomorrow can't come soon enough. Haha this waiting for everything really is no fun!
@runnerd: I think that's called strategic planning!!! It's not like you are seeing them every month - just only when it's "the" month. Hmm......
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@LindsayInNY: guess it's good thing I'm lazy then and don't have good follow thru!
pomelo / 5607 posts
@LindsayInNY: I don't think she meant she'd actually go in. Just cancel the appointment if no BFP that month.
pomelo / 5607 posts
Anyone else also thinking about how to tell DH if you get your BFP this time? I feel like it's a *little* weird to make a big production of it after having had a m/c, since it might end badly again. But at the same time I feel like it's just planning to have another if refuse to celebrate at all. Also, last time I was so in shock that I literally just walked upstairs and mutely handed him the test. I had all these cute ideas, but when the time came I couldn't wait because I HAD to let someone else look at it and tell me it really did say what I thought. On the other hand, we announced to the parents very cutesy, so I'll be doing just a phone call this time.
So this time around, DH's birthday is next week. So if I get a BFP in time, I'm going to get a cute onesie or something that says "I love Daddy" and give it to him as an early birthday gift.
Anyone have any thoughts? Something fun to think about during the TWW?
bananas / 9899 posts
@Torchwood: My DH will probably just be present when I POAS. I wish I could make it a big surprise or something, but after all this fuss I think that might be silly...
I think the birthday onsie idea is great!!
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Torchwood: I'm so nervous about this, I want to have enthusiasm for next BFP but I'm afraid to make a big deal at the same time, like "well, we are back to the step we were already at, now lets see if we can make it a step further" but in all honestly ill prolly just shrek and scream and cry while throwing the test at him
ETA: last time I gave him a dad to be book
pomelo / 5607 posts
@pui: Omg love it!
@runnerd: Ha ha, that sounds about right. I'm just going to try to test when he's not home so I can do that stuff mostly on here and to my best friend. ^_^ And I love the book! I wanted to do that because books are my most favoritest thing ever, but he's already declared he will read one parenting book, period, and I am pretty set on Unconditional Parenting so I don't want to "waste" it on a cute dad book.

supernovaj: you are too sweet! if i'm being honest...may is my dream month to have a baby.
everything about it would be great for me...the weather, my job, etc. (i know those things don't really matter, but...a gal can dream, right?) so...fx for september!
mrsmcd: YES! i hope that even though i have way longer cycles than you we can stay on the same poas boards (but not for too long, of course!
coconut / 8079 posts
@mrsmcd lol at the bd storm. @pui that pic is awesome!
@sweetkeight I know what you mean. Seeing or reading about unfit parents is always hard, but especially during the TWW!
@littleeveesmommy welcome!

@mfa_lady: My LO was a May baby, well actually he was supposed to be a July baby but he had other plans. May was an excellent time to have a LO.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@jhd: thank you!
littlek: wow! he REALLY had other plans! thanks for the confirmation. i'm crossing all my appendages for a may baby now.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@pui: That's awesome. I may send that picture to DH.

POAS for no particular reason. I'm only 6dpo but I felt like it and that's why I bought so many. Negative of course, but I feel better having just given in so I can stop thinking about it again for a while.
