    @CharityAnne: wahoo! Congrats! And I agree, there's nothing like the feeling of seeing the word "pregnant" on a digital!

    @CharityAnne Woohoo! Congratulations! So excited for you! That looks pretty conclusive to me but I sure wouldn't mind seeing a couple more positive strips if just for fun at least

    @tarabonno: Have your cycles been all over the place since stopping BC? Have you been to your doctor yet? I went off BC in December and had two crazy cycles, then seemed to normalize and then last cycle was crazy again. It's such a pain.

    @CharityAnne did you have any signs/symptoms that you were pregnant or was it a total shock?

    Ok. I'm trying to figure out if I ovulated already. Last month I thought I O'd on CD19 (based on a positive OPK and higher temps..FF predicted O CD16). This month I had EWCM the other day and a temp drop. Early. like CD13. What do you ladies think? One big question I have is my temps were higher last month, then this month. Does this matter? Unfortunately I didn't start temping until halfway through the month, so I don't have anything the base this months early numbers off of.

    I've attached pictures of last months pitiful chart and this months so far. There's a pretty big difference in temperatures. Should I keep testing on OPK's? My estimated O date this month is CD17..basically trying to see if y'all think its possible to O a week early?

    @Littlebit: Honestly, I started with daily tracking of OPK and CM before I worried about temping. I think you need more data on your chart to really figure anything out.

    @Littlebit: Hmmm you could have O'd CD13... or maybe you are going to O today, CD14? The only way to know for sure is by temping the next few days to see if your temps keep rising!

    @CharityAnne: Congrats! Definitely get a Clearblue Digital so you can see the word "pregnant" pop up. It'll make it more real!

    @buttermilk: Well it was kind of a shock because this was cycle number 8 for us and I didn't have really any hope, especially because I tested Saturday morning and it was a BFN. However, I did have some really mild symptoms of AF coming these past couple of days, (weird pinchy cramps, a little bloating yesterday, and just a little boob tenderness). They were really mild though like nowhere near what my usual pre-period symptoms are, so I kind of felt like something was different. The cramps never lasted very long either, like five minutes maybe, and that's odd for me too. I still didn't want to get my hopes up though, so when I saw the test this morning I was shocked! I think I just stared at it for like 5 minutes! Lol

    @littleevessmommy Yay for you too!!!!

    @Littlebit: I think you need to wait to see what the next few days of temps look like. If your temps stay high or increase, I'd say you O'd on CD13. Keep BD, just in case!

  22. mrs. 64

    nectarine / 2936 posts

    AF is 5 days late following my lap in July. There is a slim to none chance of being pregnant because we had to abstain during the time I should have o'd. The doctor said it could be late and not to be alarmed, but I'm upset. I googled a little and some people have irregular cycles for several months following. I just want to get this show on the road.

    @pui: I am 17 dpo. I tested the first time on Saturday which was 14 dpo and it was a bfn..like totally white. I guess these last few days made the difference!

    @CharityAnne and @littleveesmommy Congrats ladies!!! So happy for you!

    @pui: Wonderful news that you finally have an appointment with and RE. I'd love to hear your experience with getting the AMH test done. I've heard of it because a couple of my friends in their late 30s have gotten it done to get an estimate of how many fertile years they have left. I'm guessing things in Canada might have different prices, but it only cost my friends around $200 for the test. Good luck!

    @Littlebit: I wouldn't compare your temps this cycle to your last one, because you only started temping late last cycle. Temps are generally higher the second half of your cycle, post-ovulation, so that is why they would look higher on your previous chart, compared to the first half of your current cycle. I'd say it definitely looks promising that you O'd on the 13th, but FF won't give you crosshairs until you have at least 3 days of a temperature shift. Keep BD'ing just in case!

    @sweetkeight: another vote for O'ing on CD18!

    @tarabonno: it's hard to tell with the gap in your temps right before, but I think there's definitely hope based on the pattern of your temp rise. Hopefully you get another high temp tomorrow!

    @CharityAnne: @littleveesmommy: Yay! Congrats to you both!!! I love seeing the BFP's on here, it gives me hope! Especially you @CharityAnne! Good reminder that a negative is not the end, even when it's not crazy early to be testing!

    Starting to feel a little more like I'm going to drive myself nuts wanting to symptom spot. I'm currently so tired I'm considering taking a nap, and I went to bed early and have only been up for 3 hours. But like I mentioned before, my usual pms symptoms (including tiredness) never went away 100% this past month (no clue why), so I feel like having them worse now that I'm actually pms-y again is to be expected. Plus I'm only 7ish DPO, so early for symptoms.

    Then again, I really like what @sweetkeight said about hope before. So maybe I'll let myself be a little hopeful that these are good signs.

    @tarabonno: what app do you use to chart? It's pretty... (I'm a sucker for a pretty UI)

    @supernovaj: that's great news - FF gave me crosshairs on CD16, but I really think I didn't O until CD18, so it's nice to hear someone else say that. Could be wrong, but I prefer to keep my FX and go on the CD18 assumption And thanks for saying that about your chart, golly, I hope the similarities mean something good!

    @charityanne: HOORAY! That is a pretty line! Congrats and happy healthy 9 months to you!

    @lindsayinny: I've tried discarding the temp and still get crosshairs from FF on CD16. So, I'm keeping the manual on CD18. Thank you so much - it helps to hear that BD might be ok...

    @pui: I had AMH done, and as I recall, it wasn't that expensive. My RE Doc did it to tell me the 'age' of my eggs. (I'm 35, so after the MC, they wanted to ensure everything was at least a little ok...)

    My number came back 'low' for my age, but my RE said that it wasn't an indicator of being able to conceive, just an indicator that not every one of my follicles is going to be the best. She sent me several studies/articles that AMH is a fairly 'new' measure and is only one of several indicators. My RE encouraged us to continue to try to conceive naturally for awhile, because even though my numbers are 'low', there's no reason to think (based on other indicators) I don't have some healthy follicles floating around in there. Huzzah. Let me look around and see if I still have the links to those articles. I'll post if I find them.

    @sweetkeight: Which temp do you think was affected by being sick - CD16 or 17? Are your temps normally so even pre and post-O (not a huge coverline difference)?

    @lindsayinny: The temp on CD17 is the one I think was off. I woke up VERY sick that day - nauseated, the whole bit.
    I've only been temp-ing for two cycles, but both had really tricky temps (even, just like you said.) It's a little on the bi-phasic, but I definitely have dips post-O. I've wondered if it had something to do with sleep. Because I perform in shows, I'm up late some nights and get up to 3 hours less sleep on those nights. Any other ideas why my temps could be so iffy?
