@Pui: sorry AF has arrived. you have so many people cheering for you here! If it makes you feel any better, I read a lot about people's experiences on Clomid, and it seems most did not get pregnant with their first cycle. And you didn't really have a clear day 1, correct?
bananas / 9899 posts
@Happygal: I actually started Clomid CD121 and O'd CD131. My doctor told me to consider the day I started Clomid to be CD5, so I made a new chart for clarity's sake. I've combined the charts now the way they really were. My hope is that my short LP was due to starting Clomid so late into a cycle. Hopefully this cycle looks like the end of my last one with a longer LP!

@pui: I'm sorry, lady. But I'm very glad that you have a fresh start!

This is probably a really stupid question, so I'll apologize now. But has anyone else had wacky cycles? I seem to be going between 28 and 24 day cycles. Last cycle was 20 days which I'm writing off due to stress. I'm currently day 27, I keep waiting for AF and she's not here. Anyway else have this issue with cycles fluctuating? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
bananas / 9899 posts
@littlek: I think it's normal for cycles for fluctuate a bit. 20 days is really short, but 24-29 days isn't varying too much.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@pui: Okay, cool. I used to be super regular and depo really messed up my cycles.
kiwi / 728 posts
@pui: boo to that loser AF coming to the party uninvited. But like others have said, here is to a brand new cycle. Also, your cycle seems to be regulating and that is a positive in my eyes!

@pui: I'm sorry
CD 1 over here and for once I'm happy about it. Glad to be back in the game this cycle.

@pui: I'm so sorry for AF. But at least you are day one and starting a new cycle. I'm day three so I'm not too far behind you. I'm already looking forward to my September POAS date. Are you going to do clomid this month as well?
bananas / 9899 posts
@MrsMcD: Yep! I am. I should O around August 29, so my next POAS will be around September 10th... which is kind of funny because that is the day of my appointment with an RE.
bananas / 9899 posts
@littlek: Hmm... it's possible your cycles are still regulating a bit. Still, I don't think you have too much to worry about, they're relatively even anyway!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@pui: I forgot, lol! Seeing as how I had to pee with LO in my lap this morning- I totally couldn't have maneuvered poas too, haha. I took one a couple of days ago and was a mega bfn. I'll take one later w/smu and update. I'm sure it's bfn...
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@PrincessBaby: Hahahaha, wait until she can walk. B thinks it's hilarious to play peekaboo with me while I'm in the bathroom. Oh, and stick his hand in the toilet, gross... What's privacy???
bananas / 9229 posts
@pui: Man, how do you always manage to get the top of the page?! You are seriously amazing, LOL!
@littlek: I'm in a similar boat but post-BC (not depo). I stopped it in December, had 2 crazy cycles, 3 "normal" ones and then last one was a mess again. I figured they would have regulated by now but who knows. It's a pain.

@mrs. 64: Woot CD1! Is this the first cycle you can try again post-lap?
persimmon / 1388 posts
@LindsayInNY: +1, @pui how do you always get it at the top of the page!?
bananas / 9899 posts
@LindsayInNY: @doxielove: Magic, obviously
No but seriously it's just math and good timing!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@pui: I haven't had AF since early 2012 due to preg/BF...So that's why there's not a lot of hope here bc AF still not back. We just quit pulling and praying;). And everyone claims it's still posdible to get KU while BF/no AF...But I think the chances are slim!
persimmon / 1388 posts
@Sprite: Loving that temp dip FX that it's implantation and not a crappy short LP
bananas / 9899 posts
@doxielove: The first page has 39 comments and every page after that has 40, so for example the next time I should post the list is when there are 1319 comments!

@pui: Boo to AF! but positive thoughts going into the new cycle and praying Sept is your month
Since I O'ed later than I planned (I am 3 dpo now) 8/19 won't be my POAS day anymore. I'm thinking around 8/25 if you can change me on your list that magically appears at the top of every page
persimmon / 1388 posts
@pui: I am impressed! It never occurred to me to keep track of # of posts!
kiwi / 693 posts
@Pui: I'm sorry AF showed. But I bet your body is going to be super happy to have a full cycle, and will be ready and raring to go this next cycle!
@mrs. 64: yay!
@littlek: My cycles have been nothing but messed up since stopping depo, but I was on it for a reeeeally long time. FertilAid supplements seem to have helped a little (took 6 months initially for my cycles to return at all), but cycle length is still kind of all over the place. My doctor doesn't think there's any correlation between the depo and my not O'ing on my own issues, although I'm not sure why. Hopefully your short cycle was just because of stress and your body will regulate soon!

maybe/probably/hopefully not a big deal, but does anybody have experience with pretty flat bbt's?
i'm used to my temps jumping around quite a bit more but this cycle they seem so flat/consistent both pre and post O. bad sign? good sign? no sign? i just wanna see a lil action!
don't think my thermometer is wonky. only diff between this cycle and last is that i started banishing my dog to her crate each night so i'm getting muuuuch better & consistent sleep without her hogging up the bed and me tossing and turning all night. so maybe my temps are just very regulated?
anyway thanks for any input!
bananas / 9899 posts
@buttermilk: My best guess is that the better sleep is making your temps more consistent. Certainly not a bad thing!
kiwi / 693 posts
@doxielove: Eeeks, thanks! But it was pretty cool this morning, even a couple of degrees colder inside than our AC is set to, so I'm hoping that's the excuse for the temp dip. Or implantation! Even if not, I'm kind of pumped today to have at least made it to CD28 with no AF yet, since my last two cycles were so short.
@peapie: I can't believe you didn't get HPTs yesterday. Your chart is so promising!
kiwi / 693 posts
@buttermilk: I vote it's the better sleep too. I can 100% tell the difference in temps during weeks I sleep well vs not. And on the plus side, more even temps make it easier for a pattern to emerge and to read your charts
nectarine / 2932 posts
@buttermilk: I need to banish my dog to her crate. She gets up usually once every night and it drives me crazy. I'm worried about it though - she's in her crate during the day with no problem, but when we try to put her in there at night she howls all. night. long. I keep thinking 'oh, she'll fall asleep soon' - nope. She will go all night. I need to just suck it up though!
bananas / 9899 posts
@PEAPIE: Okay you need to test! I'm going to be shocked if that is not a BFP.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@pui: I think your current cycle is perfectly timed! How nice to have a dr. appointment the same day you plan to POAS. Maybe the dr. will take a blood test??? And just FYI: my POAS date is the day before yours. Let the countdown begin!!
nectarine / 2086 posts
@littlebit @sprite @pui thanks! Think I'm just really wishing I was seeing a promising dip or spike.
@littlebit honestly, it was the best decision I've made in a while! I love to snuggle with her and don't want her to be alone but my health and sanity comes first! And I think she is enjoying it too! They usually learn pretty quick so maybe if you endure a night or two she will catch on soon?
