@Torchwood: well I know that's stressful, maybe it's just bc it's early and your on the borderline for showing up on the digi! I think it's promising that the wondfo is now showing up within the time frame

@pui had an appt for blood test this monday but af came on thursday so looks like I'm on to another month.. and our first IUI

@PEAPIE: congratulations!! How exciting. Let us know your husbands reaction please!

@Torchwood: Sounds crazy, but can you take apart the digital test? There is still a basic test in there that will show a line in the test area. See if that shows anything.

@buttermilk: if I were you, I would wait to test until AF is either due or late. I just hate seeing that BFN. By the time she is due, you should see a positive.

SO So SO many thank you's y'all! I am so thankful for the kind words and support, and good advice over the past few months!
So after I tested this morning, I went and got back into bed and crawled over to DH and said "Wake up, we're having a baby." He was like, "What?! Really?!" I don't think his eyes opened before he could get those words out. Haha... he was cute. Then later he said, "Our sex-a-thon worked!" (yes, sex-a-thon... so there, @MrsMcD: get excited about your future BD-Storm... IT WORKS )
@Littlebit: Yay for first crosshairs!
@Torchwood: I really hope it was a dud and everything is perfectly fine. I'm also glad you have an appointment and don't have to wait to long. Keep us in the loop. Thinking good thoughts for you.
@tarabonno: LOL... your egg whites... love it. :

@ladybee: I don't think so, it didn't give me cross hairs before the past two days.

@ellewoods84: yeah, I think I'll test again Monday just bc it would be the perfect day to share the news with our family (parents 35th wedding anniversary) but if that is still a bfn then I'll wait for AF!

@peapie So exciting!! I love the sex-a-thon comment. Adorable!!
I had lots of EWCM this morning, so quickly got BD in. FX that maybe I'm O-ing for real this time!

Has anyone had really bad cramping but no AF? Worried I may be out, but thus cramping feels different and worse.
pomelo / 5607 posts
Thanks for the responses! I took @Dandelion's advice and took the digi apart (surprisingly easy). There's definitely a line there. It's lighter than yesterday (tore apart that one too ^_^), but definite. I don't feel 100% confident, but pretty sure it's normal for darkness to vary, especially this early. I also took another OPK, and it's darker than yesterday. Granted yesterday's was afternoon and today was fmu, but just that it's not lighter makes me happy. I'm going to tentatively remain excited, but looking forward to blood test.
Also, definitely feeling some nausea. Fingers crossed it's not just psychosomatic because I want it so badly!

@Torchwood: and that, my friend, is why I dislike digis. I'm so glad there was a line. Fingers crossed for you on Monday!!

Well, this shows that taking apart a digital isn't helpful. Still confused. Guess I'll just keep peeing and waiting for Monday. http://peestickparadise.com/Peestick_Basics.html

@Claire.Peonies: I have had some cramping off and on very similar to AF cramping, just kind of dull. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but it also makes me feel like AF is right around the corner. Hope she never shows for both of us.

@PEAPIE: @JHD: Congrats!
I got my crosshairs this morning so officially 3dpo and in the TWW. I think this month I'm going to wait until after AF is due so I can try to maintain at least some sanity over the next couple of weeks

@littlek: Thanks. Why does one person saying that make me feel better, even though it's what I've been telling myself all along?!
pomelo / 5607 posts
@runnerd: Thanks. DH is a total pessimist (and he's worried about my feelings), so he keeps telling me not to get my hopes up. But a wandfo this afternoon with semi-concentrated urine is darker (though still very light) than this morning. Since I got the positive on digi with later urine, wondering if fmu is all it's cracked up to be.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Torchwood: I don't think it is! Last time I got stark white with FMU on 9 DPO, and a positive after 2 hour hold at lunch!
I really think your wondos are a very positive sign!! Have you tried FRER too? I've never used a digi but little skeptical of its accuracy the day of first in time frame positive.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@runnerd: Not yet on the frer. DH is much more patient and is going to be annoyed enough when he realizes how much the digis cost. Since I have the wondfo's and a doctors appointment, he would NOT be okay with "wasting" more money on any kind of test.
This would seem to agree with the fmu not being best. http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/pregnancy-tests-urine-sample.php
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Torchwood: interesting link! And I really really think you should just ignore the digi and be confident with the wondfo's! I know it's prolly hard since DH is pessimistic, and there is the fear from before, hope appt gets here fast for you!
How did you get an appt so quick? I'm curious for my own purposes when BFP eventually

So I'm 6 DPO today and had pink tinted CM this morning, gone now. All my head can think about is "implantation????" then I get sad and remember there are 101 reasons for spotting.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@runnerd: I usually see the nurse practitioner, so I think she's usually less booked. To be honest I can't stand the woman (which especially sucks with this because I'll be humiliated if I'm not, even though I know that's not a rational response), but since we move in two weeks, I just wanted to get in and wasn't worried about it. I specifically said I'd had a previous miscarriage (the receptionist actually assumed I meant I was calling for a follow up appointment), and that I wanted a blood test to confirm things. I don't know if that helped or not.
Also, DH asked if the digi could just be leftover hormones from m/c. NOT what I wanted to hear! I've had more than enough negatives since then (it's been almost 11 weeks) that I can't imagine that'd be possible, but now he's got it in my head!
For now I think I'm going to assume it was too early, and that for whatever reason fmu isn't actually best, so that's what happened here. The wondfos may have higher rates of issues, but false positives are SO rare. Plus I'm having some symptoms which I think less likely if it was chemical.

@Torchwood: When I tested when pregnant with LO, smu was always better than fmu and I tested a lot because of a previous miscarriage. Good luck! Sending you lots of sticky thoughts.
@jhd: @PEAPIE: Congrats!!!

@Torchwood: when I was pregnant with LO I drove myself nuts POAS. I highly suggest not POAS since you have had a positive. Otherwise, you will drive yourself nuts.
