Just some random commentary... So I've read multiple times that in any given month your odds are 1 in 5 to get pregnant, and of those who have POAS for the month, we're at a 40% success rate!!! I guess that means that your odds are higher I'd actively charting/OPK'ing?

kidding. I've read that one in five statistic too, but I think you're absolutely right..your chances must be higher when you're charting and using OPKs.I got my first crosshairs today! So excited! I didn't start charting til the day before I O'd last cycle, so I'm pumped to have crosshairs this cycle! Officially 3dpo! Testing next Sunday. Last cycle was my first TWW and it was torture. I'm trying to not let it get like that this time.

@runnerd: That's amazing that the bfp rate is so high!!! I've also heard that chances are 20-25% even if timed right. I think I read that when timed correctly, something like 90% of eggs are fertilized and of those, about 70-75% do not result in babies - most never implant or are chemical pregnancies and about 10% are miscarriages, so only 20-25% actually result in viable pregnancies. So long story short 10% no fertilization, about 65-70% fertilized but not viable, and 20-25% pregnancies.
@sweetkeight: Congrats!!! That test is beautiful So I'm only about 4 dpo, if I did actually O, and it feels like I could get AF at anytime. I know with breastfeeding that LP can be short but only 5 days or so? Does anyone know?

Eeek! I am getting close to my POAS date and I am nervous! I am still having a lack of symptoms, but I am having AF like cramps. Hope that doesn't mean she is just waiting to pop up and surprise me! However, this cystic acne bump on my chin is really something else. I promise it is so large I believe that I felt it pulsating earlier. It has developed it's own blood supply. Hope it's a good sign.

Woke up this morning to a temp dip
Currently 12dpo. Was going to test this morning but now I don't even see what the point is. I'm probably out. So so bummed! My LP is usually 16 so maybe its a bit early for my temp to start going down but I can't even keep up the hope anymore.

@Littlebit: lol they are so ugh!!! I don't usually get these kind, more of a mild, not so large breakout before my period. It's painful! I will be around 14ish days DPO. I dont temp so just guessing based off my positive OPK. My POAS day is the day my period is due!

of course, ever the optomist, maybe it really could be an implantation dip at 12dpo? i'm only skeptical bc i swear i felt implatnation pinching on 8dpo so would have expected it to happen sooner but what do i know!
guess we'll see what tomorrow brings.

i also woke up to a major lower backache which isn't generally an AF sign for me.
i read somewhere that while the egg can attach itself to the uterus earler on *like 6,7,8 dpo* it can burrow even further closer to your period causing some signs like dips, bleeding, etc.
not giving up hope quite yet! if only for the fact that it will be a lot easier than being depressed all day long!

Well today I start my second round of Clomid. I should be done this cycle before my RE appointment in September... let's hope I end up having to pay the $50 fee for cancelling an appointment.

I keep a little DPO log of possible "symptoms" each month. By the looks of it, I must be dying, or a hypochondriac, cause I'm sure they are all just in my head.
