@babycanuck: I had flu like symptoms a couple of days before my BFP at 7-9dpo. I felt stiff, tired, stuffy nose and a weird sore throat feeling that was very brief.
@MAE: congrats and welcome!!! Sticky dust!!
The board is on fire.

Hi guys,
Checking in on this (very long!) thread. Congrats to all the new Mamas!!! This is my first Hellobee month, and it's sure been exciting following everyones progress
I'm having the craziest TWW - I am symptom spotting galore (early morning nose-bleeds, Montgomery bumps, sore wrist, nausea, dizziness, AF cramps 4 days before due, gas, sore boobs) - you name it, I've felt it... and the more obscure the more likely!
However AF due tomorrow and consistent BFN's each morning (even though I swore I would wait until AF was late to test), so I am clearly reading WAY too much into things, and driving myself batty in the process. I expect I shall be joining the September POAS thread very shortly.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing how the month ends, and how well the group outperform the average!
PS - there was a question posed on the thread a few pages back about the craziest things you do whilst trying to conceive, and I've discovered mine! I use my black underwear in the weeks leading up to ovulation (to spot EWCM more easily, obvs!), and my white underwear during the TWW (to spot implantation bleeding more easily - though that was wishful thinking on my part!).... maybe I should give myself in to the nut house quietly!!!
It's nice to have people to share this with who may understand where I am coming from (please don't judge me!!!!!!)

@MrsCDH: haahaha that's hilarious about your underwear! and brilliant at the same time! welcome and good luck! At least you'll get some answers soon since AF is around the corner.
@pui: I'm officially a rollover. AF showed up in the middle of the night right on schedule!

Thanks ladies! I'm not too bummed. Our original TTC plan was to start this September. We pushed it up a couple of months bc we had some bad health news about a family member. But since it didn't work yet, I'm just counting July & August as practice months!!! I had a nice long talk with my uterus yesterday and we both agreed to do everything we can to make a sticky baby this month! Haha

@buttermilk: LOL, I have conversations with my woman parts also. Mine are more 'Get your sh!t together, girl!' - maybe I should try speaking to her nicely?

@Littlebit: Yeah I made sure to thank her for all the hard work she does that goes unnoticed. "But this month, can we really just focus on drawing that sperm in and then implanting that shit into your lining please?" LOL

@buttermilk: haha! I love it.
I'm 8dpo today..and I haven't had really any symptoms. The past two days (so Wednesday, Thursday, and this AM) I've had more CM than normal...I've also had a slightly sore throat yesterday and today. But that's it. Here's my chart if anyone is interested: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Littlebit

Ahhhhhh! I ended up POAS while I was on my trip (first test on top at 10 dpo) and got my first BFP! I was in complete shock, and in a hotel room thousands of miles away from DH. AND I had to get it together at 6am to go to the last day of my big project.
I decided to test because I was feeling all kinds of exhausted (granted, I was working 14+ hour days). I also had a few bouts of nausea 8 & 9 dpo. On about 7 dpo I had the sharpest pain in my lower abdomen that made me say "OWWW!" out loud. Also, my chest was super sore. So, I had my suspicions. The last night of the project we typically have a bit of a party so I wanted to test to clear my conscience for having a few celebratory drinks. Needless to say, I stuck with soda water and lime!
That day I texted a photo of the test to one of my good friends bc I wasn't sure what to do or how to feel. She was very sweet and assured me a line was a line. And no, I didn't have the flu,
I had to wait a whole day till I got back home to tell DH. I was super scared because of his TTC anxiety. I made him stop at one of our favorite nature places on the way to dinner and I told him that I thought of a new song he should write (he's a musician), the song is called "Baby, we're having a baby". He looked at me puzzled and I said, "No, really". He was so excited, I think I've only seen him so happy on the day he proposed. There has not been a trace of anxiety since I told him, thank goodness. If anything, I'm the wreck. An excited wreck...but worried nonetheless. I tested again as soon as my plane landed last night (second from top, 11 dpo) and again this morning (bottom test, 12 dpo).
Ahhhhh!
