Since Elliot has been sick he's been eating quite a bit less than normal. I think part of it is because he's stuffy and can barely breathe through his nose. He usually eats 4-5oz and for the past day or 2 it's been closer to 2 
Will he catch up when he gets better?

When my LO is sick, he eats less. When we had a well visit, his weight went down a bit. He's caught up since, but it happens. Also when he was sick, he only wanted boob, not expressed milk in a bottle, so he was extra clingy.

Yep. My son always eats less when sick - usually takes 25 or so oz a day and when sick he sometimes takes 20 and also refuses solids sometimes.
Mine makes up for it after. He had a few off days last week but the past few days has eaten 30-34 oz of formula per day, plus solids.
