If you LO had baby acne did you wash their face? Did you use soap or just water?

My son had some baby acne for a couple weeks . I did nothing and it went away on its own! I asked the ped and that was her reco...

We wiped her face daily with a warm wet washcloth (no soap) and used soap only every few days.

We didn't do anything the first week, then we tried warm wash cloth + cetaphil 1x a day.
It didn't really clear up until we used hydrocortisone (1%) daily after the washes (based on pedi reco)

We used a very small amount of soap. For an even better result, put a few drops of breastmilk on the effected areas.

Breast milk was magic cure all for us! We would put some on her baby acne and the affected area wild clear up over night. Best part was that it wasn't drying or irritating to her skin.

I used aveeno baby wash lightly on a warm washcloth every day and that seemed to help:). Our Ped said it would peak at 8 weeks and then usually subside...Sure enough, hers pretty much went away at 8 weeks on the dot, so I guess time was the biggest factor:)

I second the breastmilk cure. We just dabbed a little on her face and it was gone! Magic!

Ha! Maybe the breastmilk did it - I said we did nothing but around that time I had a really forceful letdown and I kept squirting his face when he un latched!
