@ElbieKay: Tom Bihn also makes great packing cubes that would replace your ziplocks. We used them in our first diaper bag (a backpack), and I've used them with my Stevie.

I have the Stevie and I love mine as well. It definitely fits over my shoulders with no issue!

I have a Coach bag I bought at the outlet store (total steal) which I really loved (it's black leather) but it is not ideal for having more than one kid so for the twins coming (and still needing to stick in things for ds1) I got the largest Pottery Barn bag. It's pretty casual (which I feel is good for me 90% of the time - I'm usually in jeans) and huge so I think it will work. Best of luck finding something that feels right to you!
