We have a pack of 3 really thin hooded bath towels from BRU. I don't feel like they are warm or absorbant enough. Have you found thicker ones that you like? Please share!

If you can sew, my friend has had good success with regular towels and the matching hand towel for making the hooded towels for her little one.

@pregnantbee: I've found most "baby" towels to be thin and quite useless. Your best bet is to use a regular towel. Thats what we do

I hate the fact that the "smooth" part of the baby towels are on the outside, and the rough part is the inside (if you use the hooded towels). So pointless!

We have Carter's towels, but I've found that using a regular sized towel is just as convenient.

I got a Pottery Barn one as a shower gift, and i absolutely love it! It's hooded and thick, plus it doesn't matter what side you use it.

Thanks everyone -- the baby ones we have are just so....useless. I'd be crying after baths, too, if that were my towel! I may just try a regular towel or bribe my friend to make one for me

@caffeinated: I did get a PB monogrammed hooded beach towel as a gift but have only used it for swimming and not baths. I suppose I could try that one, too.
