Did you use a baby bath tub with your LO. I saw one the other day with a built in shower head and I thought that would be really handy. What do you all think?

We have the whale one. I like it except that it is hard to travel with. I think he'll fit into it until he is sitting up. It came with a rinse cup so I use that. I like the summer infant ones with the nets insert. I think I would do that if I had to do it over again. Sinks freak me out....I think of them hitting their head/face on the faucet or accidentally turning on the water and scalding. My ped says he sees a lot of scalding from sink bathing and that for some reason scared me a lot!

We have the infant to toddler tub w/sling. It's worked great for us so far. The sling was really useful during the newborn days (babies are so slippery). She still has plenty of room at 11 months and we'll probably keep using it for at least another couple months.

We have the whale tub also. We went straight from that into the big tub. I domt honestly see the point in getting one with a lot of bells and whistles.

We have one that started out as an infant tub and had a soft seat for her, and now it's a toddler tub and is just like a mini tub inside our tub. I love it because 1. We dont waste water filling up the whole tub and 2. We dont kill our backs bending over to bath her because she's raised up. Next it will transition to a kneeling pad for us when she's ready for the big tub.

Thanks!!! It seems like everything has changed since I had my twins 4 years ago... so many more options!

We have always bathed her in the big tub. We do have a wash pod tub, but we just use that for soaking because its too hardto clean her in. We started out having one of us in the tub with her, then we got a summer sling thing for her that she reclines on in the big tub. The sling folds flat so It makes it easy when we travel since we don't need to worry about how to bathe her.

I have the fp whale bath tub and I bathe her in the kitchen sink. I bought a hose from a beauty supply shop. I have to say it makes bathing so much easier

My SIL gave me one of those tubs, but it's missing the mesh liner - does that mean I can't really use it for a newborn?

We've always used the big tub. We co-bathed when he was really little and only needed 1-2 tubs a week. From there moved onto one of those bath sponges ($6 at target). Now at 7mo he sits in the big tub or I get in with him. When its just him I don't fill the tub much - with two of I I make it super deep and he loves it!

We have the FP Rainforest one and it has worked well for us. As soon as she's steady sitting up we will move her to the big tub.
