So surprisingly, we only received one baby towel from both of our baby showers. But I now have 3 baby bathrobes: 1 terry, 1 Juicy, and 1 used. Are the baby bathrobes practical and useful? I am wondering about returning one of them if I can. If you had them, did use them a lot?
And now I'm free to buy myself baby hooded towels - I'd been holding off since I heard you get so many at the shower!

When my LO got sponge baths, we used them every day to keep him warm while we watched different parts and kept the rest of him covered. Otherwise, we never used them after that.

i think baby robes are pretty useless. if you can exchange them, i would. PB kids has great towels. i've heard good things about 3 sprouts towels as well, but i haven't used one of theirs. you don't need that many, i think 3 would be plenty for hooded towels.

We got 5 and we've used like 3. The PBK ones are soooo soft!

Robes are a pain in the booty.
Even at 22 months old, towels are so much more convenient.
I have 2 hooded towels, but honestly, I just use adult towels on my kids.

Hooded towels, sorry. I have used a bathrobe on an infant and they aren't as quick/convenient IMO.

Oh I looove the robe we bought A. We used to put her in it to nurse after her bath when we'd coconut oiled her up so her pjs wouldn't get greasy and it was so warm and snuggly.

I would return all of the bathrobes, or keep 1 max for cute pictures. I think they would be a massive PITA. Wrestling a wet baby into a towel is one thing, trying to get their arms into the sleeves would be ridic and they would get all cold while you were doing it!

I got one bathrobe that we never used, and I ended up handing down to my SIL. It's just too much work to put their little hands in the arm holes when you have towels that don't make you do that.
I love love love hooded towels, LO is 18 months and just grew out of her baby hooded towels so we got her bigger toddler towels, even though most people suggest to just use adult towels now. But I can't resist a cute hooded towel!

Bathrobe was so cute but unused by us. It just didn't cover anything! I gave it away.

We never used the one we were given. I much preferred hooded towels.

I dont think they are practical, I just prefer using a regular adult towel

LO doesn't have a bathrobe, but once she's a big girl and can stand and walk, she'll have one of her own. She has 2 hooded towels and 2 fluffy normal towels and it seems enough. I may get her another hooded towel though and later add a hood to her fluffy towels.

I got one handed down and have never used it.

He has one and has used it once. I much prefer hooded (or even just regular adult) towels.

We got one as a gift and I returned it right away, didnt' see any situation in which we would use it. We just wrap her in a towel after her bath and then put on PJs.

useless. we got 2 and he wore each once, just so we could say he wore them. hooded towels are the way to go!

Not practical...we only ever used ours when we ran out of hooded towels.

I never had one but we used a hooded towel.

We had a robe and never used it. Try to get real terry cloth towels! We were gifted some thinner non-terry cloth towels and they were useless.

Thanks Ladies! I can't return 2 of them...here's hoping I can return the one from Macy's w/out a GC!
