Just had another friend announce a pregnancy to me tonight. That makes 12 women in my close circle due from Late Feb-early May. I was in 6 of those girls' wedding. Counting DH family and others, I know about 20people due in Spring.
Anyone else having a baby boom in their circles?

I am, particularly second babies among our playgroup and playground friends. Of 11 moms I see at our playgroup, 1 just had a baby and 7 others are due between now and March. It's crazy. And two of the others are trying.

@LibbyLou: the second babies thing actually makes sense to me, since most of LO's "friends" are about her age and a 2-3 year age gap is very common, at least around here. But still. It's a lot!

Not so much a boom, but some people very close to me in my family have just announced they are due in March...and it was a big oops, which is real hard to deal with! Although super excited for them too. So feel some of your pain!

totally! i know 3 friends that are pregnant and recently told me, due in I think April or so. It makes me a little feverish for my second even though we are not ready yet. Two of them have been trying for a while though so I am mostly just really happy for them.

Yes!! Including my sister in law who delivered last week and a best friend who announced yesterday! Super happy for all of them but I wish the dreaded "when's it your turn?" would stop coming at me from all directions... Sometimes from people that know I have been trying for about a year. Good grief!

There is definitely a baby boom in my circle, 5 friends and counting so far and two of my friends just told me they plan to TTC #2 soon!

Not really. My SIL and I are both pregnant but she lives far away. And I have one local friend. I wish there was a bigger baby boom so LO2 would have lots of playmates!

Could just be a life cycle we are in- or for me the phenomenon like where if you want to buy a red Honda Pilot you suddenly see red Honda pilots everywhere! Maybe that's why I see pregnant people coming out the woodwork!

@LibbyLou: for me it makes sense, since we had a huge wedding boom a few years ago. Everyone got married within a few years of each other, most waited a little bit, then started having kids. Then waited another bit and had another kid, which is where we are now.
