Anyone else's LO not a fan of the car seat? 5.5 month Zoey is not a fan and there's a lot of crying that goes on whenever we're driving. I thought driving is supposed to lull babies to sleep!?

Yeah, my son goes through phases of living and hating his carseat. At this point he mostly tolerates.

My niece HATED the car seat. She would cry bloody murder the whole time she was in the car.

Both my nephew and the boy I nanny hate hate hate the car. In fact I never took the little boy anywhere during his first year because he would just cry.
My sister never went anywhere outside her town without someone with her because her son was heart-wrenching to listen to!!
My son went through a one month stage of crying helplessly in the car and it broke my heart!
Now he hoes back and forth. He can usually last about 20 mins before he's ready to get out. This is wear baby wearing cones in handy, he does not want to just be transferred to the stroller, so baby wearing actually helps him cry less when he's in the car.

My baby went through phases of crying in the car. So I started sitting in the back seat with her and we would only go somewhere right after she had eaten, changed her diaper and burped so she was as comfortable as can be. Then with me sitting in the back seat and DH driving she would be calm. Now she doesnt cry in the car anymore even if I am driving and there is no one in the back with her, I also attached a toy over her carseat and that gets her attention a bit and put shades on the back window to keep it cool and not too bright.
