For those having/had a second child, did baby fever happen for #2 for both you and SO at the same time? Or was there a gap?
My baby fever came first, but we both were in agreement on the time frame. We are both going crazy now & ready to start trying, but we want to wait another 3 months due to me being in a wedding/ I suffered from really bad morning sickness last time & I don't want to risk being miserable for the wedding! Can't wait to start trying again though!!

we go through phases, sometimes it's together, sometimes it's one of us.
we've made tenative plans for the latter half of this year, so we'll reassess then!

I have a feeling it will be me pushing the issue. I will be 36 mininum when I give birth with #2. So I don't want to wait too long. Plus I want them 2-3 years apart.

Hubs never got baby fever for baby #1 and he doesn't have baby fever for #2. I carry the fever for both of us.

DH had baby fever first with #1. Like YEARS before we were even ready to get married and have kids. Once we came home with DS from the hospital, he was ready to work on #2!! Um. No.
I'm just now starting to get the itch for #2, and have agreed to TTC later this year when DS turns 1.

DH always has baby fever. If it were up to him we'd have 6 kids including adopting some!
For me, we knew the age gap we wanted between kids so it wasn't as if baby fever actually kicked in. We went with our initial plan.

For baby #2 he had it WAY before me...he would have liked 2 years apart and I really wasn't ready for that. Ours will be at least years apart bc LO is currently 2

DH has been talking a LOT about baby #2 and I am still one and done. I'll be 37 this year though so..... gotta make some decisions.

I did, both times. I'm not even sure if he got baby fever the second time since we got a surprise BFP so early after DS. But he always said he wanted another, just not as soon as we did.

He had baby fever when LO was 6 months because she was a super easy, on schedule baby. I told him we lucked out and our future babies will not be this easy so I want to wait a little longer. I told him it's not fair to her that just because she's calm and good that she has to share the attention right away. I want more alone time with my first born.

Mrs. Blue's video of her twins totally gave me baby fever.
I want to skip the pregnancy and newborn-3 month stage, though 
I'm in a wedding late this summer and we decided to TTC then. DH would be comfortable with whenever, but since I'm the one who'd be pregnant, I get final say, ha

We wound up pregnant with #2 before either of us had a chance to get baby fever! Happy it happened that way, actually

Neither of us have "baby fever" in terms of wanting a newborn but we started talking about dd needing a sibling when she was eight (eta- autocorrect) months and around the past month (she's now 16m) we have both been on the same page about really wanting that second kid sooner than later. But we both are looking forward to when we have two sttn and out of diapers!

It comes and goes for both of us. And it's never at the same time. When he has the fever I'm thinking "you're crazy!" then we switch.

I kind of got it first. I got it, then things got really rough and I was like nooo, but then we both were ready around her first birthday. There is just something about your baby hitting one...

I put other. His came first and mine was no where to be found. But then we got pregnant by surprise and miscarried. He didn't seem phased. It hurt me badly and I got CRAZY baby fever after that. So, the tables totally turned.

I had baby fever first with DD. DH was on board and we were trying, but like 4 days before my BFP he said we should wait a year... Now he says he can't believe he wanted to wait and it was the best decision ever. DD is 6 months old and I have the.worst.baby.fever.ever. DH wants another one now too so we will start trying when I get my cycles back.

DH definitely had the baby rabies waaaay before I did, even before we got married and so much so that he wanted to start TTC for another baby when Miss A was less than six months old! I'm only just starting to feel ready to TTC at fifteen months pp and I think we'll start trying again towards the middle of the year.
