Luckily for my bank account, there isn't much right now that is tempting me. I hope that it gets better for spring and summer.

OMG I was just there on Monday and the girls' stuff was out of control adorable!
The boys stuff was eh--their boys' selection seems so limited, especially in store!

I think everything is disappointing right now. I had a GC to spend at a department store and couldn't find anything interesting! All the clothes are drab and no really cool/different prints. I think once we get closer to spring it will look better.
I also had a CG to use at Carter's and I was surprised at how cute some of their stuff is right now. I mean, their stuff is always cute but these items were downright spiffy!

Yes, the boys stuff is definitely lacking. I did buy just some staples the other day like some plain sweats and plain t shirts but there wasn't anything I was loving.

Agree, I feel like a lot of the Gap stuff is loosing the "style" and getting more like carters crap (animals, cheap prints, etc). Not that all carters is bad, we have plenty of it, but most of its just NMS.

@Smurfette: they just updated their playtime favorites section, which is my favorite section now. I don't find any of it to be MUST HAVES but I'm happy to see some new options!

H&M is my go-to for D these days. Not only because their stuff is cute and cheap, but also their bottoms fit him really well with the cloth diaper. I feel like they put more room in the butt of their pants than most companies. In Carter's he's in 12-month stuff and butt-wise may need to move up relatively soon already, whereas his 9-12 month pants from H&M still have plenty of room!

Walked by Crewcuts yesterday and it took a lot of willpower not to go in.

I love some of the toddler girl stuff! The yellows with black and white look so cute!
The boy stuff is never as cute. Though I did get DS two valentine shirts when everything was 40% off last week.

I never find much I like at BG. The girls' stuff is adorable but the boys' selection is usually pretty meh.

There's some cute stuff for girls, but nothign I coudln't live without. I'm not in the mindset of spring clothes yet either, so hopefully I can hold off a couple months before doing her next season clothes!

I was just in there yesterday and spent 45 min convincing myself not to buy stuff. They had a couple really cute girls things and with clearance an additional 40% off plus GAP cash, I really wanted to do it. But, LO does not need any more clothes until at least next fall because we already have so much.
No shopping for me.

their stuff hasn't been great lately. i honestly buy way more from old navy. they did have some super cute toddler girl stuff recently, but it already sold out!
i prefer hm styles though i think gap tends to be high quality than hm.

@Smurfette: I went yesterday with my sis and felt like we had everything I'd want already. But I have noticed as I start shopping in the toddler section of the store, the clothes don't seem nearly as cute as the Baby section. Maybe because they are just more "play clothes"?
@Mrs. Bee: I love the stuff you pick for Olive! I did some damage the last 2 times I went to Old Navy! Their toddler stuff is cute!

The baby boy section always stinks! I wish they had as much cute boy stuff as they do girls (as I cross my arms and pout... ) I love their girls stuff though!

I love their baby girl clothes but I couldn't find cute baby boy clothes for my nephews during Christmas. I get into so much spending trouble at Baby Gap for LO.

Really??? I am loving their girls stuff right now. The coutryside blue and green collection was really cute and the new black, white, and yellow collection is cute... as is the V-day collection.
I just got a few things on sale the other day for a total of $23! My sister gave me her Gap cash and I plan to get at least one thing from the black/yellow line.

Guess I'm in the minority but I like the b&w stuff...and the dress someone commented about earlier.
Part of why I like it is because we already have a lot of brighter/colorful stuff.
I don't look in the boys section, and just the toddler girls now. I also have a heart dress for v day that I think is cute.
Most f LOs clothes are still carters/ON... Still a better value for money.
