I know there have been some discussions about leaving baby alone in the car for a minute, but this takes it to a different level I think.
A mother left her newborn in the locked car whilst she went and did the grocery shopping. The baby's newborn capsule was left on the front seat (unsure as to whether that's where she had the baby whilst driving or if she moved the seat there whilst she was in the store) and left a note attached, written from the baby's perspective, saying "Mum's gone shopping, call her if I need anything" and left the mobile number.
What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I won't even get petrol when it's just DD and I (we don't have pay at the pump here in Australia), so I certainly couldn't imagine leaving LO in a car whilst doing the grocery shopping!
