I'm thinking about getting my LO these shoes because well, I love pigs and she needs new shoes. But they seem like they'd be hard to get on and off her feet. Anyone have experience with shoes like these?
By the way, I know I recently wrote a post on how I wanted plain shoes for my LO. But I give up, I can't find any!

we have a similar pair and they're super easy to get on and off. My LO is only 6.5 months though so its easy to make her sit still while I put them on.

Yes I should add my LO is 14 months old so I have to get them on a squirmy toddler!

hehe too cute! we had similar shoes and they're ok to get on and off. I like to put shoes on when he's sitting in a seat (carseat, high chair, etc) because it's easier.
Shoes that are SUPER easy to put on are pedipeds or similar molded shoes!

i don't know what brand those ones are, but they look similar robeez. i've noticed on some more rolly poly LOs, they're too tight on their chubby lil ankle rolls, but on slim to average LOs they're super easy to put on take off. could you try a similar style on somewhere?

I agree, some of the chubby ankles the elastic on these cuts into. Usually socks help with that, but they are SUPER easy to get on and off.

@mrs. bird: Unfortunately my LO has big feet for her age so I can't find any soft sole shoes in stores in her size, I have to order online so no matter what I'm taking a chance.
@Thehistoryofus: I'm looking for shoes to wear in the winter so they would be worn with socks, but she's quite the chub. Who knew buying shoes would be so tough!

I agree with @Mrs Wagon on pedipeds. Our other current favorite for ease of getting on and good flexible sole is the Stride Rite SRT's. It's what she wears on most days. I loved See Kai Run, but they were the toughest to get on of the three brands.
Those style of shoes that you are showing don't seem like they would give the traction and durability that I think we need for our walker. Are the robeez style shoes good for walkers or just crawlers? I think they are super cute.

I also like pedipeds and smaller by see kai run for little girls. Anything with velcro was best for us. The Robeez type shoes just didn't work out - too much cinching near the ankle. But I will say that it is harder for the babies to take those shoes off, compared to the velcro type where they can just rip it off once they are coordinated enough. For the little guy, we used pediped, and now Stride SRT Soft Motion since he is walking. I wish all of these weren't so expensive though.

@MamaG: I'm looking for something a little less expensive though. I would love to find one of those brands at a consignment store, but like I said with my LO's big feet it's hard to find soft soles in her size and I'm just not willing to spend $40 on a pair of shoes that she'll wear for a month and then grow out of them.

Ok, I've been talked out of buying these shoes even though I love love love them. But I'm still not willing to buy $40 shoes.

@artbee: I don't recall what size you said your LO needs. My LO is wearing 5's and 5.5's right now. We got our SRT's from amazon with a coupon code (I think I had to signup for the amazon shoe emails) and from 6pm.com. Here's some plain ones that go up to a 5 for less than $40.

I should also add, we really like the SRT's that have the rubber that extends up over the front of the shoe. It's part of what I ended up not liking about See Kai Run. On the See Kai Run shoes the leather was instantly scuffed up and worn.
I have to add that I love See Kai Run, I think they will just be better when she's a better walker. They weren't durable for the learning to walk age.

@MamaG: She's a size 6, those only go up to size 5 
I find that a lot of shoes vary obviously in sizes, but she was measured at stride rite and they told us to go with a size 6, and I'd rather go bigger since I want her to wear them with socks for the winter.
