It could be overtiredness. Are you watching for tired signs as well as the clock? Naps tend to go a bit better for us if I start getting DS ready at the first signs of tiredness.

Is this for all naps or naps in the afternoon? I was just reading that some babies extend their awake times in the afternoon so maybe he is going to bed too early? I only say that bc the same thing happened to me just now with a' snap.

@Freckles: not just in the afternoons but more often after his first nap. He still takes at least 4 naps a day!

@winniebee: I can only commiserate! I thought being a second time mom meant we were superstars at putting our kids to bed.
