Hey east coasters,
Do you use a blanket or cover over your soft carrier? If so, which one? Do you still bundle your LO up inside the carrier and then put the cover over them too? I find that Z is too bulky in her winter coat to be comfortable in the carrier and her little legs are exposed when her pants ride up. What do you do when it's cold outside?

I have a SSC (but I'm on the west coast)-- all of my cold-weather friends dress their LOs warmly but then put on a large coat, which covers LO in the carrier. Kinda like this (from Rockstar Diairies):

I dress her fairly warmly and wrap a blanket around her. I kind of tuck it between me and the carrier so I don't have to hold it up. Also, don't underestimate how warm she will be just by being worn!

I use a northface body suit and I put a blanket over her/clip it onto the carrier. Pretty soon I'll put her winter hat on too.
ETA: not an east coaster. But it does get cold in the Pacific Northwest!

Usually I put a sweater on her, but not her jacket. I leave my coat open, so it covers her a but. I throw some leg warmers on her, so she doesn't get that gap between her socks and her pants. I've also been tying a big A+A blanket around my waist since I don't have a carrier cover, but I think I need to find something warmer since we live in New England.

I have started putting some babylegs underneath LO's pants for the same reason that they ride up! I have a fleece coat that I put on him and it works well but isn't too bulky.

Baby Steals just had a cover blanket thing for just this the other day. It was a blanket you could snap on both sides of the carrier. It looked really useful!

@miranlee: I put a sweater on her and tights under her pants or knee high socks. I'd either wear a big bulky cardigan (a thick one) and button that over her and wear my peacock over that, or tuck a blanket in there. I'm thinking of getting something like this for this year though
