I like Catherine, and so does my husband. She seems the most normal, but maybe I'm biased because she's the most like me--- a free spirit! And even free spirits settle down when they find the right guy (speaking from experience here!)

Also, I'm biased towards mixed couples and I *think* she might be the first non-Caucasian girl to make it this far. It's about time!!!

I didn't vote because I already know who he chooses!!

@Mrs. Pen: Reality Steve--this is why I am having an elective u/s at 16w. Patience is not my forte.

@beebug I miss Des too! Maybe she will be the next bachelorette. Or Ashlee. Who knows?

@Mrs.Pen Ashlee just had such a hard time opening up and just having fun, I don't know if they'd pick her for a bachelorette. But maybe they would since she has "overcome that" after Sean? We shall see!

Catherine for sure! They are completely goo goo gaga for each other and it is so sweet! Fingers crossed for her, and I'm going to try and stay away from all the spoilers. I love the anticipation of the finale!

@Mrs. Blue: I agree about Ashlee...there never seemed to be a connection or chemistry that I could see. It was more like her sending very intense one-way feelings his way, except it looked scary when she said these things to him.

Yup. Ashlee did it to herself---how many times can a girl mention how she's "broken" and "has walls up" and "has a hard time trusting people" and "has issues" before a guy is like.....um, no thanks?

@grizz: There was a point when she said "I adore you" (maybe they were doing a flashback) and her mouth was saying it but her eyes were saying "I have a knife and I might use it if you don't love me back".

@Mrs. Pen: yeah I think it's like 4 months where they can't even see each other! So crazy, I think that's why most of them end up never working out.

I know too! It's *REALLY* hard for me not to look up reality steve spoilers from the beginning now that I know they exist. My hubby HATES that I do that!

I, too, knew from Episode 1 who Sean picks. Honestly, it makes me MORE interested in the show since I can see how he interacts with her and how they do different editing with different women.

Reality Steve has TONS of info on the Bachelor/ette franchise and actually taught me a lot about how the show functions. The final "winner" is picked weeks/months before the show goes on air. During the several-month period of when the couple is together/engaged but they can't tell, ABC has set "getaway" spots where the two can go every week to meet up and spend time together. They make it very sneaky (no hotels, no going in public at the same time), but they do see each other and spend time together. The reason most of these relationships don't work out is because it's a mostly-phony "reality" show that tries to force love in a 2-month time frame. It's just not conducive to a healthy relationship.

That being said, I still watch and still LIKE watching.
