What online service do you use to back up your computers?
What do they let you back up: photos, videos, documents, music, anything else? Are you allowed to upload an unlimited amount of files?
What do you pay for the service? Are you happy with it?

I signed up for Crashplan earlier this year and I am very happy with it so far. I had TONS of data (about half a terrabyte) to upload and it uploaded it in a few weeks (I was estimating months....).
It's also pretty affordable IMHO. $60 a year... unlimited space. No restrictions on what kind of data you want to upload. It's also encrypted and they will keep several versions around in case you need to go back in time to a previous version.
I haven't had to retrieve any docs yet, so I can't speak to that service.

Btw - I love Dropbox.com's free service for a small subset of files that I like to sync across machines. However as a long term storage solution it's *expensive* for the amount of data I need stored. At 0.5TB (e.g. 500 GB) it's $499 a year. Crashplan.com is $60...

@sunny: Just finished looking it over, it sounds amazing! And definitely perfect for our family. Are there any referral links? If so, I'd love to use yours for mentioning it! I know, I looked at dropbox, I can't believe the price difference between them (and other sites) vs crashplan. And I saw that even huge companies like Google use crashplan. We will definitely be purchasing the 4 year plan today!

@Boogs: Awesome! I don't think there are referral links, but if you want to sign up for a Dropbox account for file syncing (across computers, between phone/computer) I'll put my referral link on your wall!
