I want to bake treats with my oldest daughter this year since she loves to help me in the kitchen. I've decided this year i'm doing cinnamon rolls to "give out" but thought maybe some sugar cookies for her to decorate as well, although they seem so basic? What do you bake with your LOs, something easy enough that she own't get too bored

@LuLu Mom: sugar cookies are perfect! Get some frosting and sprinkles and she can help you decorate, too! That's probably the easiest and best thing at this age to work on with her. But, for anything you make, I'm sure she would love to help mix, measure and stir!

Sugar cookies are great! mine will let you pipe frosting on and then she likes to decorate with candies (and eat them, so that's a challenge....). Mine also likes to just "dump" things in the bowl and stir haphazardly.

He loves any kind of cookies or cupcakes, but really loves helping with any kitchen projects.

@LuLu Mom: If you have a cookie press, spritz cookies could not be easier. We just did them with my DD. She was in charge of sprinkles.
