Where do you like to buy your LO solid color shirts? No sayings/prints etc. I bought a few pairs of more "busy" leggings, and have nothing to match with them! I went to Target yesterday to get basic t-shirts and they didn't have any. I don't know if they are just trying to switch to long sleeves now, but I didn't even see any basic long sleeve shirts either.

I usually find some plain(er) options at Gap or Old Navy. Often they have some sort of detail on them (lace trim, etc), but overall the color is solid/no pattern.

Next (nextdirect.com). I love their tshirts. They wash beautifully. LO wore our first purchase at least once a week for over a year and they didn't look wash worn at all. I cannot say the same thing for our gap/old navy shirts.

We get them at Hanna Andersson outlet and gap - but they might be easier to find for little boys.

H&m. Because you can get organic cotton basics at around the same price as non-organic elsewhere. They have mostly solid colors in the organic line. We also got a gorgeous yellow organic hoodie on sale for $7.50!

On diapers.com I get solid colored burts bees and city threads t-shirts. Long and short sleeve.

Kohls usually has solid cotton jersey t-shirts from the Jumping Beans brand for cheap and I just got some on clearance from Nordstrom - Tucker & Tate brand. But I usually go the other way around - busy shirts and plain bottoms.
