I have one and I LOVE it. L is 12 weeks old so I've only done the front inward carry so far but it's sooo easy to use and so comfortable. If my husband wears it after me, he can adjust the straps in less than 30 seconds.

I got the plain brown one bc I wanted DH to use it too. Super boring, I know.

I love my Gemini! We got the robots print, but if I had known there was one called Jake, and known it was that cute, I'd have gotten it LOL

The Beco Gemini is an awesome carrier! LO loves it (we just do inward facing, but she still loves it!), and I can put it on in just a few seconds. Seriously. It's super easy, even by yourself! I have worn her for several hours (3ish) and didn't have any pain in my shoulders/back/hips. She is 7.5 months and 16 pounds.

I have it too, and also love it. DD is just 10 weeks, but we've been using it for over a month already, so your six week old will fit fine. It's easy to put on alone, and it easily adjusts between my side DH's size. I've even carried DD in it on an airplane, and she slept the whole way.

I'm planning on buying this carrier too. Glad to see it is still a popular option!

@tysonja: I have always done it that way, too, i.e., cross the straps in the back for a front carry.

@NaturallyCathy: we love ours. I think DH may love it more than I do! We have the Amy, because I wanted something different.

Well, I have the Beco Butterfly (which I LOVE but is being discontinued), but as far as color goes, spit up and saliva will show very prominently on black straps, so we went with a taupe color and it still looks great after a year of spit up and washing. So I recommend staying away from patterns with a black body and straps. My friend had a black bjorn and it looked so pitiful with the spit up stains and fading from washing.

@NaturallyCathy: it looks like most of the gemini patterns have a black or dark brown base and straps, so my tip may not be that relevant. There are some pretty all print patterns, like the Jewel or Paige Overall, and there is a nice gray color on the Beco website, perhaps those colors would hold up against spit up. We have a basic black Gemini, but I'm coveting the new Beco Soleil... It's all over their FB and Insta!

@NaturallyCathy: It looks like the Soleil comes with a hood and different panels you can swap out, and you can't do a forward-facing front carry.

I love our Beco! It's much easier to put on by myself than the Ergo, and C (9 months, 20 lbs) feels very comfy and secure in it.
