... because every time I see a piece of clothing I want to buy online I end up clicking out of the window and telling myself it won't fit sometime this year anyway (hopefully!).
All the cute sweaters and jeans I want to buy seem useless given that we're going to TTC in a few months. I know a lot of pre-pregnancy clothes can still be worn for awhile but hey, if this is something that actually *prevents* me from online shopping I may as well go with it, right?
Anyone else do this? Think I can hold out?

Initially I did this, but then I just started buying clothes one size bigger so that I could grow into them! I am actually really glad I did it because I am almost 8w pregnant and super bloated. So the pair of jeans I bought pre-TTC have actually come in handy!

It definitely helped me for a while. Then as TTC stretched on and I went to the mall Christmas shopping, I splurged! I probably spent what I had saved in the past months of not shopping.

@kentuckygirl: I'm kind of worried about that -- we want to TTC in spring, but if it doesn't happen quickly (and who knows, right?) then I am going to want to buy some spring clothes. But I'm keeping my eye on maxi dresses and clothes that might transition well at least.

@kentuckygirl: Same here. At first I thought "well I just won't buy any colder weather clothes". Then it got to be colder and I definitely wasn't pregnant but I wanted to update my wardrobe, so I ended up buying clothes anyway. Now I want spring clothes and have the same dilemma.

I wish that would happen to me! I think I'm trying not to jinx myself by "preparing too much" in case it takes longer. Boxing Day was not a friend to my wallet at all I also keep telling myself this might be the last time I have a decent figure.

Yes and no. I reaaaally want new jeans, but I'm holding out on those since I still have 8-10 pairs that I wear even though I just don't love them anymore. But I still buy tops since I actually don't have a lot of those and do need them.
