Did anyone use one postpartum? I am looking at the belly bandit, but I'm not sure that it will work with a c section.
I am more interested in not feeling like my guts are falling out, like I did with LO #1, than the slimming portion of it (that's just an added bonus).
My hospital did not give out abdominal binders with my last c section.

I used a bellefit and felt well supported! But it's definitely an expensive option. Even some spanx worked well for me once I was past that stage.

You can buy a really basic one like the hospitals give for 30-35 at CVS/walgreens

I just bought a belly bandit for when I deliver next month. I liked the reviews I read, hope it is worth the money.

I got a belly bandit but not for a c section. I ended up being disappointed because I should have gotten a size smaller so it wasn't much use. Maybe wait until after to get one so you'll know the right size to order?

I borrowed a Bellefit and it was awesome. Expensive, but honestly I think I'd buy one next time if the one I borrowed wasn't available again.

I had 2 c-sections and swore by the bellefit (I still occasionally wear it as shapewear)! This past c-section I asked at the hospital about a binder and they were able to order me one (free).

As Mrs. Confetti said - the ones at Walgreens look like what I got at the hospital. Also, my doctor "prescribed" it and then it was delivered to my hospital nurses from the medical supply company. Maybe you could ask your dr ahead of time!

I used the Belly Bandit BFF. I found it really uncomfortable but it worked to slim me down pretty quickly. I'm on the fence if I would use it again. It definitely did make you feel nice and tightened up there. But it wasn't that comfy for sitting or nursing.

I specifically asked for one at the hospital. And then when it got too big ordered a super basic one from amazon, which I'm glad I did because I didn't wear it as long as I anticipate once things settled down and I got a bit more core strength back the downsides of the binder (itching, etc) outweighed any benefit and I ditched it!

Loved the bellefit! I got the one that works for c sections and vaginal births, they have a sizing/birth calculator on their website. It's pricy but it works quickly. By 10 days out things were looking back to normal and it hold everything in in the meantime! You may need 2 sizes depending on the weight gain, I think they recommend if you gain 35+ to get 2 sizes.

Thanks Ladies. I think I will spring for the Bellefit. The Belly Bandit reviews are all over the place and most say its uncomfortable.

I had the belly bandit and tried it after my second c section. It was super uncomfortable and hit right at my incision.

I got the BellyBandit (bamboo one) and loved it with my first C-section. It's already packed in my hospital bag for the second C-section. I loved it more for the support and "not feeling like my guts are falling out" than the slimming factor. Although, I do feel like it helped me slim down and tighten up really quick after birth.
