I'm trying to figure out what carrier would be best for me to get. I would love to be able to BF my LO while he is in the carrier. I'm plus size and have very large breasts so I'm not sure what would work for me.

@threescompany: I liked my Peanut Sling. I gave it to a friend when E was about 6w old because I never breastfed out in public anyways, so it was pointless for me. At home, I sat down and breastfed.
It wasn't pointless, but she was/is the type to BF while shopping and/or at a park or cafe or wherever, so for her it was very useful and to me, much less use of out it.
They come in all diff sizes. I bought mine from Ebay actually for like $15 at the time. I think they retail for $55?
Someone on here has one and ALWAYS uses it. I just can't remember her username.
Here's a pic:

I think ring slings are the easiest for me. I am also plus sized and large breasted. The rings let you lower the baby to your breast for nursing and then can tighten it up again when they're done.
If you're looking for modesty as well, you can cover with the tail.

I've nursed in the Ergo (with the infant insert) and the K-tan. It just takes some shimmying and adjusting!
I would definitely go see some in person to see what they look like and if they'll work for you. TBH the Ergo was a complete impulse buy, so I'm glad it's worked out for us!

I was going to say I've really liked nursing in the ring sling too! We had the K'Tan which I really liked but I was never able to nurse in it b/c I couldn't adjust it.

@junebugmama: Thank you....I have a Maya ring sling I just can't seem to get comfortable in it......maybe I should give it another shot.

I have a Beco Gemini. It was great for nursing in (lower the straps and then pull out the boob). I watched some youtube tutorials on it. I have nursed in an Ergo and it is more difficult because of how the straps lay. This isn't to say it is impossible or won't work. It just wasn't as easy as the Gemini. I haven't tried slings or anything.
We were very successful nursing in the Moby wrap as well when he was a teeny infant. Watch some youtube videos and see what you think looks easiest.

@threescompany: Did you use your maya with a front carry or a hip carry?
The best way is to put baby in a hip carry, latch baby on and then let baby turn their head and rest it on the breast. It sounds strange, but it's not uncomfortable I promise.

@junebugmama: my LO is only 2 1/2 months not sure if this is possible with him being so small

@threescompany: this baby is obviously older, but you should still be able to put them to the side. It doesn't have to be a full hip carry, and baby can still be "froggy style" in the rs but just pushed out a little bit.
Does he have head/neck control?

@junebugmama: yes for the most part.....he is sleeping now bit I'm gonna try in the morning!
