For some reason my DH is super uncomfortable about me nursing in public. I have a Hooter Hider cover and he feels like it would be easy for me to flash someone because it doesn't fully cover the sides/back. He claims he has seen some of his female with covers that "go all the way around". I'm picturing the kind of cape you wear getting your hair cut. Does anyone know of something like this? The Dria seems pretty good - has anyone tried it? Other recs?

I have a hooter hider and prefer it over the Dria - but only because I can't see LO with the Dria. I do think the coverage is better with the Dria.

I have the tommee tippee and I don't love it, but it works. I always wear nursing camis, so I don't have to worry about showing my back/belly.

I have a bebe Au Lait nursing cover. I'm not sure the size in comparison to the hooter hider, but it's pretty big. It doesn't cover the back, but it can cover my sides. I like ones that have a structured neckline so I can see DS. That would be my issue with the dria. Now that DS is 6 months and can latch pretty well on his own, the dria might work.

My SIL has a Booby Trapper and that's what I got as well. It has awesome coverage and a double rim so you can see baby really well and the cover isn't all over their face.

I have the same exact Bebe Au Lait cover as @mrskc:. I wear nursing tanks usually so my back and stomach are still covered.
I plan to make my own cover like the Dria once I get around to buying some jersey fabric. Seems versatile and easy to make. I think your DH should be okay with a Dria or Dria-like cover. -
I have a pashmama that is like a cape you'd wear at a salon. It was good to have in the early days when I was not so good at getting her on.

I have a nursing poncho I ordered from etsy. I like that it looks pretty stylish and has good coverage. It doesn't have a wired rim though so I have to hold the neckline if I want to see her.

Oh @shopaholic: reminded me that I pinned this DIY dria style nursing cover. You just sew one line. I bought the fabric for it while pregnant and still haven't gotten around to making it. Totally forgot about that.

Are you uncomfortable or just your DH? It's good to respect his concerns but also respect your own concerns (need to see baby, too hot, too difficult to do x with y cover).
My DH was uncomfortable but it started to hinder my nursing progress, so I started to just go with what was most comfortable to me. -

@DriaCover: late rely, but I ended up just getting the Dria cover. Never got around to making one. Went through a phase that she hated it and being covered at all in general, but we are all good with it now! It is absolutely my fave for traveling and BFing on a plane! I've let her nap on the boob under the Dria and I feel much more secure than the traditional kinds of nursing covers. And it keeps me warm on the plane!
