Help please: my LO is now 10 1/2 months old and in talking to her teacher today at daycare I was told that the toddler room requires hard soled shoes for their kiddos. I had a great pair of pedipeds for her that I was all set to use, but they are the soft leather soles.
So, any advice for good and reasonably affordable hard soled shoes for my LO?

How hard do they need to be? Some of the Nike kids shoes are both soft and hard. We like them.

Try See Kai Run. They have great hard sole shoes. See Kai run small has a mixed leather and rubber sole for the smaller feet.

@brownie: I need to get clarification on that. It sounds like the concern is soft soles that let in all the sand from outside that makes a mess in the rooms...so maybe a combination is possible? I am trying to peek in the toddler rooms when I drop off LO and will ask around at her center too...

Pediped also makes those "grip and go" rubber soled
Shoes that are still flexible...I'm thinking maybe it is the
Stitching on the original Pediped that lets in the sand...
